I’m an Aesthetician and I wouldn’t recommend dermarolling twice a week, if you over traumatize the skin that close together then you are actually causing the breakdown of collagen. This can cause premature aging, texture issues and just generally no positive results.
Stick to once a week with the 0.05mm. And if you want a deeper needle I’d recommend Micro-needling done by a professional only. Those needles will penetrate the Dermis (bottom layer) where as the dermaroller only stimulates the Epidermis (top layer).
Yes i dermaroll once a week with 0.5mm and i now dermaroll with 1mm twice a month.

Acne is plural - "acnes" is not a word, you don't put an 's' on the end.
Have you tried taking acnotin? Its very effective to me. Its like my ultimate treatment for my acne. I almost use anything acne regimen i could imagine until i tried the acnotin. It solved all my problems with my acne. So sad, i just discover it i am already 32 years old.

Very important to note, if you role too much your skin will start producing collagenases, they are enzymes that break collagen which is NOT what you want. You want to induce the production of collagen safely, that's why it is advised to role once every 2 weeks with 0.5mm. Also one more point, it is advised to change your dermaroller/ microneedle every 1-2 uses, because needles get curved with every indention, so you won't be getting that full on depth piercing.
My dermatologist told me that .25 is good enough. Be careful because sometimes bigger isn't always better.

@@athena264 I feel it's definitely best to start with that one. Then after 3 months maybe go to the next one. My Doctor told me bigger isn't always better. Plus you can cause more harm than good if you go straight into the bigger one's.

I read , depending on the size of the needle equals how many days to allow your skin to heal . I’ve used the derma roller . 0.5mm and I wait 1-2 days to use it again. SN: NO BLEEDING and I use a hylauronic acid (nvm the spelling) my skin has improved and I don’t see any signs of trauma . Thanks for the video !!

I have deeper acne scars. Box car, pitted and ice pick. I have so far seen 40 percent improvement using 0.75 mm once a week. I I haven't been able to keep to this regimen every week. But I'm starting now with a derma stamp with a bigger needle to see how it may improve. They say if progress is stagnant you have to increase needle size for deep acne scarring

@@mirakhan3973 I have not because I've stopped stamping and rolling due to active acne and hormones cycles. But I don't see why the progress should stop if you keep going.
Your skin will need time to heal, if you roll on it too much you don’t give it a chance to repair the inflammation the d-rolling causes.

A craving for sugar means a need for protein. I’m the same way. Have you tried blue and red light therapy for acne? Blue kills the bacteria overnight for me. Blue light is used to sterilize ERs at night and Red is used to heal wounds on the Space Station.

I had fibroblast on full face in September as a non surgical facelift and was very glad. I’ve wanted a nose job and it really reduced my 👃 and my earlobes. I’m going to do it again. I have a machine to do it myself but it’s too intense. I’m hoping I get similar results with the dermaroller. To heal I’m using stem cell serum, and red LED light and sunscreen. I appreciate people making videos with how to advice, warnings and results. I loved your results . God bless you
Oh I’m also drinking carrot juice (Welches) with OJ and Pineapple juice that heals bruises after facelifts. My diet is very simple and intentional. Salads, soups, fresh fruit, lots of water, protein. So far so good :)
I have found that using apple cider vinegar as a cleanser works for instantly reducing the red acne scars water it down in a bottle half and half then apply with a cotton pad at night also vics vapour rub on the acne at night works miracles I’m excited to try the derma roller as I only have the odd small acne pit scars hope this helps you too
I don’t break out often but when I do, it’s from soy milk. It’s those type of breakout that hurts...I don’t know what is in soymilk that causes me to break out.
Soy contains phytoestrogens so its probably affecting your estrogen levels. Youd be better off with almond milk, cashew milk, oat milk, or hemp milk because they are not phytoestrogens

I think your face is responding well to the derma rolling. I can’t wait until I get to a point where I can finally derma roll. My face is far too broken out to roll right now 😑

Hi, my skin really got great when I cut out sugar and carbs from my diet. Not keto. No. I'd never do that. But no carb after 2 pm. Limited carb in the lunch.

Another thing which really really helped me is following this simple regimen which Asia Jackson explained!
1. cleanse your skin with some facewash with Salicylic acid. Foams are fine if it helps you.
2. Immediately within a minute, pat dry and apply toner (use your hands to pat. No cotton please)
3. Apply serums suiting your skin
4 . Follow by applying a moisturizer. I suggest any decent gel.
5. Sunscreen (you get gel ones)
It has Changed my life.
Another tip: use minimal product. 1-2 drops max of everything.
Because quanity can definitely lead to clogging of pores.

Yes it can help reduce them but I would suggest using a salicylic acid face wash and retinol serum at night to help reduce the size

Never. Don't use active ingredients like salicylic acid and niacinamide after dermarolling.

I have deep and open scars, I want to start this treatment, please recommend me how to start, what should I use before and after? What length needles I have to use? Please guide me, please. Thank you!
Start with a 0.5 mm needle with a 540 count. Disinfect the dermaroller with 70% isopropyl alcohol before and after using it by soaking it for 3-5 minutes. Cleanse your face well... no sweat, makeup or products should be on your skin. Start with very gentle pressure in small sections. After you're done you can use a hyaluronic acid serum. For 24 don't work out, no makeup, no active ingredients skincare like acids, retinol etc. Use sunscreen but try to avoid going out in the sun. Do it once a week only so your face has a chance to heal. Good luck. X

@@dramasreviewer6158 If it's made of titanium, you can. And until you see results then you can do it once every couple of weeks. Your roller has to be replaced after every 6-8 weeks.
Use pure alovera gel on skin morning and night leave it on skin. Trust me u will see difference and no acne. And you will get fair skin. Just make sure not have the yellow kind gel of aloe . And yes derma roller for acne scar .
I dont want my skin to go any lighter thank you but i will try aloe vera masks to settle inflammation

I’m going to start Derma Rolling because this review is really informative, so thank you! I have a bit of scarring along my cheeks like you but mine is surface level, and some on my forehead. I also have a couple deep indentation scars scattered across the apples of my cheeks from a different disease a very long time ago. Ive been told they look like freckles (they’re in that kind of position) and I’ve come to terms with the fact they are most likely there to stay. Maybe one day I’ll even find them cute! Lol, who knows. But I know for sure I want my cheek and forehead scarring gone.

It will work if your acne scars are not that deep and no it will not make you hairy

I use a 1.5 😬I have acne scars and some large pores around my cheeks and definitely a lot of black head and it worked absolutely great I don’t feel much pain I put different serums before and after , but it really helped my skin clear up I use it lightly not harsh but not to gentle

When should we stop using dermaroller treatment? I do this 2x a month for about 3 months. Actually my only concern is some (small) ice pick scars on my both chins. It doesnt work so effective for me. The only result i got is my skin looks much brighter. There are still some scars left on both chins. I tried IPL but didnt work as effective as dermaroller. Btw, i do dermaroller on skim clinic by doctor.
I think stop dermarolling when you see the result.

I am experimenting with a Derma-stamp on a single chest ice pick scar as well! .6 size then vitamin c serum + retinol serum, after 1 month will try .1 size with same and will wait 1 month to see difference and adjust from there.... do you know what size needle the clinic used??

Does anyone know if it’s ok to use this if you use a retinoid? I’ve been on differin about 2 months now so my skin is past the initial purge stage and I want to add something to help with scars
I would avoid it using differin or retinoid as your skin is sensitive. However if you haven't applied them to that area it should be okay to roll with a 0.5mm roller

I see myself in you! I also have the same type of scar on face. Its really hard to remove. Unfortunately I dont have the money to see a professional. Right now what I'm doing is I also use dermaroller 1mm once a week. Then I also use kojic cream to lighten dark spots and scars. It works. The scars looks lighter now whenever I take selfies. But I still need to get a good lighting and good angle to cover these unwanted scars. Keep doing what youre doing! And keel sharing your experiences as some people don't understand how its like to have this kind of dilemma/problem.

what size of dermaroller do you use?
Try the Nuetragenia? Face mask red and blue lights. Its a plastic mask with sunglasses inside it that has blue and red lights. The mask is plugged into a battery pack that contains 30 treatments 10 min each. After 30 treatments you have to purchase another battery pack that contains 30 treatments.
It works for all kinds of acne even cystic acne. It works to reduce inflammation and kill bacteria in the skin. I use it twice in a row that’s 2 treatments at 10 min each. It has taken my acne way way down. I had an emerging lump on my cheek next to my nose, it was under the skin, nothing I could do for it except wait for it to grow and either come to a head or eventually going away. I used the mask when I noticed it in the morning and again that night. Next morning lump was almost gone and there was a baby white head!!!!!! I washed my face the white head was removed. I didn’t squeeze it because that will make it bigger and introduce bacteria to surrounding area. It went away in 48 hrs. No redness. I never write in comments but I feel this can help you so I needed to let you know 😀

Why does it burns after derma rolling and after how many hours i can wash my face and start my normal routine.. i have used 0.50 mm derma roller
It should not really burn. You should be careful not to cut too deep into your skin or drag the roller. After you put serum on I would wait until the next morning to wash my face and at least 24 hours before makeup application. You should wash your face before rolling as creams and bacteria can get into your cuts and sting or cause infections. Also cleaning your needs with rubbing alcohol before and after will reduce any problems stated above.

They say it worsen active acne, in my case, when i have an acne. I use the topical pins on the acne then it dies and heal next in the morning

@@Bhaluuushaa i used 1.5 mm for topical acne only. So if i have active acne, i prick the acne including the surrounding. I make it sure that it bleeds a little bit. They died next in the morning. I don't know if it will works for you,
Is 1mm Derma Roller Bearable?
Just about for me! You need to make sure you are putting enough pressure on the skin for it to work so i can be painful.
Do you notice a difference with your blood flow ? I struggle with bad blood flow on my face.
I didn't pierce my skin to get much blood so maybe use 0.55mm and don't press too hard to bleed

Hey! I have used derma roller only 2 times first time after derma rolling there is no redness or any kind of irritation on my face but at the second time i got redness on face the next day after derma rolling and after that I had slight itching and got tiny pimples on my cheeks so is it normal ?? And before using it had disinfected derma roller with 99% alcohol I am scared can you guide me
You need to make sure the roller is completely clean in alcohol. Your face must be completely clean cleanse it then wipe alcohol on top. Tie your hair up completely and make sure your hands are washed dried and sanitised.
Make sure you sleep on your back as sleeping in you side can get bacteria from your pillow. Use satin pillow case and wash the satin case daily as they dry by the end of the day

Wait at least 24 hours, it won't ruin your skin but will make you break out.

Have to do it consistently but it will eventually permanently removed your scars.... so if you do it a few times small indentations will be gone permanently but the deeper ones will take time

No i would wait a week to gently exfoliate any dead skin cells away but mothing too harsh as you might tear your skin

@@hadiaali937 trust me. Its effective. Its normal though to experience redness of the face. For me i have sensitive skin, i do it anyway, for 2 days, my skin looks red, but the next day the colour backs to normal. Your skin becomes tightening. I suggest you do it during weekends, or during the days you don't have appointment outside

It definitely doesn't get worse, it probably isn't a deep enough needle, go to a bigger size or go to a dermatologist
