Truth, I am so glad I was able to listen to it, this is some of the best music I have heard in a long ass time and I am going to listen to it so many times here as well, lol! 💯
@@wkswilliam I enjoyed the entire film. There were obvious cheesy moments throughout, which is usually done intentionally and follows the borderlands game stylistically while making itself, its own version. The opening bar scene with Lilith displaying her skills before taking the contract is my favorite scene.
Rock didn't die.... it just evolved. The genre was becoming stagnant. Not to mention the late 90's after the grunge movement was probably the most awful time period for the genre. I won't even list all the horrible rock bands (and Nu-Metal bands). They don't deserve mentioning.
Dear Dan and Patrick, All I can say is thank you for all of your music. You have given me so many memories growing up listening to you guys. My uncle was the first person to introduce me into your music when I was around 6 or 7 and I fell in love with the music and ever since I had always hoped to see you guys in person and on my 15th birthday I got tickets to see you guys in Chicago just a few weeks ago and i can't remember the last time I was as happy as I was at that concert. I hope this isn't the last time I will be able to see you guys in concert. Thank you again for your music and keep on rockin!
My favorite part of this song is at 00:19 . Right before they lay down that fat, fuzzy, heavy riff you can hear the guitar start to feedback. Hits me so hard every time.
Truth! I love this song so much, I first got to hear it from the Borderlands movie so it fits so well, I just can't wait to listen to it so many times, lol! 💯
Do you feel like you're the only one living on a prayer? Have you ever tried to love someone who wasn't even there? No one really knows Where it goes from here But we all decompose And slowly disappear If evil lay these hands on me Shine a little light on my soul Show me things I cannot see Shine a little light on my soul Go to places that you used to go But they don't feel the same See the faces that you used to know But they forget your name No one really knows Where it goes from here But we all decompose And slowly disappear If evil lay these hands on me Shine a little light on my soul Show me things I cannot see Shine a little light on my soul If evil lay these hands on me Shine a little light on my soul I'm waiting, praying, patiently Shine a little light on my soul
Find your inner self. Your inner light. For you are light and you are love. And that is exactly what this song is about. Power to the creator. Listen carefully.
As a drummer I can tell you Pats drumming is extremely simple, but it makes the music better. Too many drummers overplay to a large or smaller extent. Rock and Roll needs basic meat and potato drumming and Pats nailed it
This is the best song in the album for me.
Agreed. Been looping for a few hours now.
Maybe I have to listen to this a some more but this song is a little too polished for me.
Completely agree
@@soulkitchen1979 its all too polished. They had it right with El Camino and the albums before it.
Get yourself together is good aswell
I haven't heard such an epic opening to an album in 10 years.
Check out Bridge Burning by the Foo Fighters!
You could switch around the intros to Welcome to the Jungle and this, and no one would care
Listen to "Monarchy of Roses" by red hot chili peppers
the migrant mother - protest the hero
“Feet Don’t Fail Me” by Queens of the Stone Age is a good opener. It’s a bit different from this, but honestly is a great to experience.
Shine a little light? Man, you just lit the whole place up

This is the best song on the album hands down. I have utterly destroyed the replay button
It's always good to own a quality backup replay button.
When they released Lo/Hi I didnt think anything else would top it, than I heard this mfkn song. They done did it again
@@ryanralph7494 yeah ryan ralph!
Rightly so
They got a Grammy too
Just binged the entire album, it sounds great! Back to the roots of garage rock, loving Dan's guitar work on this record.
Karan Gera Same, pretty sure this one is my favorite
It's not dirty like Rubber Factory but o.k
@@duckbrew Rubber Factory will always be my favourite blues rock album of the 21st Century
It doesn't count as binging unless you are in a dark room, higher than a kite, and listen to it at least 5 times.

Heard the 10 sec riff in the promo vids and bought the album..the whole song did not disappoint
My thoughts exactly lol
I just figured this riff alone deserved $15.. the rest of the album being legit was just a nice bonus
Literally impossible to listen to this song enough times.
They blend the perfect blues and rock sound and it sounds like buttered perfection.

I heard the first 10 seconds of the song and I knew how missing this was from my life!
Dude, when i first heard this song. I restarted the first 25 seconds probably 12 times. Lol. Song is straight up bad ass
*'Cause there's this tune I found, that makes me think of you somehow and I play it on repeat!*
Awesome raw, rugged, unfiltered and not overly produced rock at its finest.
Best song ever
This album is like when you get everything you ask for during Christmas
!!!!!!!!!!
haha yea
I'll never understand why this wasn't the leading single for Let's Rock. Missed opportunity, Warner...
I give thanks for the universe and the strength it gives me to thrive in this life
These guys have yet to make a bad album. Everything they write has merit in some way or another. Even their early early stuff is great.
The sound wave gods have delivered lads
Superb song!
It's been 24 hours since this released. And that riffs brought me back atleast 20 times. It's insane.
This tune and "Go" are the best songs on new album.
Bongs rips for Dan and shots for the Drummer I love every jam.
Never heard of this band until yesterday. Cool track.
You have been missing out.
the beginning of the genius of an album
Imagine a tour between Royal Blood and Black keys together... that will be awesome

My favorite song on this album. Welcome back Dan and Pat! I stayed up until midnight to listen to this!
One of the most underated bands ever!
this riff kicks ass!
That riff is BANGING!
This still gives one hope for the future.
The Black Keys have made it bearable all this time which otherwise would've been a real long nightmare .
This song is the definition of why I want to learn electric guitar
For me this is the best song on the album, which is awesome as well! This guitar tone is amazing
Straight Banger

God DAMN. Move over Fever, this is my new favorite Black Keys song.
AWESOME
That riff is great!
The type of song where you turn it even louder when the guitars kick in and put the gas pedal to the floor.
I always do that when I get hyped up too
This is hands down my favorite black keys album that opening guitar riff oh my goodness
BEAUTIFUL
