Welcome to ESO, I hope you like it and continue playing. I was surprised looking at the comments realizing the mount you got was a 0.001% drop chance from that crate, I don't dabble with crates much (cause it's gambling and microtransactions) so I don't know about drops from them much. I've been a fan of this game since the morrowind dlc came out with it.

Orcs (or Orsimer) in Elder Scrolls are actually one of the elven subraces (the others are the Altmer or High Elves, the Bosmer or Wood Elves and the Dunmer or Dark Elves; there are more subspecies but those are not playable). Bretons, Redguard, Nord and Imperials are all humans. The only playable non-human and non-elven races are the Argonians (lizardmen) and the Khajiit (cat folk).
@@Mithia Not really. They have trace amounts of Elven ancestry, but half elf? That's going way too far. Subbed specifically for the ESO content. Yes it’s casual but it is SO LORE RICH. A lore junkies dream game. I spend hours just reading books. Trying to remember names in scrolls and notes and matching them to real NPCs in the world. (There’s even a fun quest line where you work directly with the author of several of the in game books). Hope you love it here!
ESO is a perfect MMO if you want to exist in and explore a living, breathing world. You can go (just about) anywhere at (just about) any time you want. The world encourages and rewards exploration - both by treasure and valuable items to be found, and in the awesome set pieces to be found, each telling its own bit of story-telling, there for just that reason. It's a beautifully realized world that you can experience in your own way, in your own time.
I've been playing ESO for about 6 ish months now. There is so much more to experience. I'd suggest. Getting ESO +. It opens up so much more. You'll like this 100% more than anything on WoW.
Most of the bookshelves in the game have books you can read. Read them all to increase skill abilities and look for Lore Books to increase your Mage Guild levels. Join the Mage Guild ASAP in any large city.
Omg the bookshelves, I started doing that and now I'm trying to read bookshelves in other games too 🤣 And yes I joined mage and fighters guild now 😁 thanks for the tips!
Just started playing eso for a few days and I absolutely love it apart from holding stuff so I got eso+ thinking it would give me unlimited but it don't nvm I'm enjoying it wow it's so open and big
it gives you a crafting bag that puts all your crafting materials in it. That is quite a lot of the items you gather. But if you still have problems with inventory I would advice you to upgrade your inventory at the stalls (you can do one upgrade for your mount per day. That is Stamina, speed or inventory). Also there are some inventory traders at the game where you can upgrade your inventory. I think it was 10 slots per upgrade. It can cost a lot of gold though. Another way is using your bank account to fill in the items and upgrading that. Your bank account can hold up to 500 items in the end. And then you also can use chests by placing them in your houses. These can hold up to 10 items per chest (you can get chests by doing the master craft writs and buying them with the vouchers you get for it) Have fun in ESO !
I've seen some people ask for more ESO content, but I suck at RUclips so I don't know what I'd make as a video 😅 I streamed nearly 100 hours of this on Twitch I think. If you have any ideas for videos you'd like to see on ESO, let me know 😊
The fact there are zones from day 1 release still populated and my gear can be banked and used later on another class/character makes this game even better. The only thing I do not like which is very obvious from the beginning is all the best looking mounts are not only in the cash shop/crown store but behind loot boxes. Very scummy.
they have a few really cool ones you can get in game but they require nodeath speedrun hardmode of raids lol. Which most people don't get. There's a pretty cool mount you can get from free from IA (base game) or the necrom zone achievement. If you like doing events they usually have a mount a year or so you can buy with event tickets earned from game. They aren't quite the radiant apex level of mounts but they're actually pretty cool imo.
Tried ESO once and spent most of my time looting random objects and reading random books, whilst listening to all the insane amounts of voiced quests. So played just like Skyrim haha.
Welcome to ESO if you’re looking for end game pve content there is tons to do and it can get very hard very fast. But if a casual play style is what you’re after then there’s tons of that as well. I hope you enjoy 🙂
I left FF14 for ESO last year. I have been playing FF14 since 2014, but as I grow older I have less time to keep up with the gear/savage progression. Also as the game is 90% instanced, I have less patience for people's bullshit. ESO is great for casual and people with a busy real life.
This is a really great game. For anyone starting new in this game and willing to try out the DLCs/expansions, my recomendation is to pick any of the portals that take you to an area where you can recruit the companions. That would be the Blackwood, High Isle and Necrom expansions. These companions fight along side you and will significantly enhance your solo PVE experience. There is so much content in ESO and you can play any zone in any order thanks to world level-scaling. Addons will also greatly enhance your ESO experience, like adding a mini map.
I would say ESO feels more solo than ff14. Both games have awesome immersive main story quests but what makes the ESO experience have a more solo approach is that even in group dungeons you can find yourself running them alone. People put in the effort to make solo builds to one man group content and I find it amazing despite it being a little odd that you can't easily group up with someone. That's just been my experience with the game so far, I'm not saying this would apply to everyone.
You may already know this but just in case, press P (default key) to bring up the Group & Activity Finder. From there you can use the new Group Finder feature, or even easier select Dungeon Finder. From there make sure you have the proper role set on the upper left of that window (Healers and Tanks have much shorter queue times, but please don't try to fake tank or fake heal if you are a damage dealer). You can either do the Random Normal Dungeon daily and get a special reward box (once a day per character) or select specific dungeons you want to try in the Dungeon Finder drop down menu at the top right of the window. The dungeons are always a 4 man, and the normal composition is 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 damage dealers. Since you already know about solo god builds you can get away with 2 or 3 manning some dungeons but its usually always easier/faster with more people. Hope this helps :)

I've played ESO since 2016 and I've seen numerous players from WOW coming to ESO but hardly ever see people quitting ESO to play WOW. It happens so often they are called WOW refugees.
Probably because wow has a bigger playerbase and it's hard to notice people leaving buy easier to notice a player who mentioned they played another game
ESO is more engaging when it comes to story and lore. All NPCs are voiced and you can actually get differerent outcome using intimidation or persuasion. Game is super easy to play and doesnt force you to log in every day to progress quicker, very casual game, tho it can be very hardcore as well if you make it. Skills are much better, you can mix them without feeling like you are doing something wrong or feeling weak. I like it more than WoW, and after you pay for the game it is free, no sub needed to play which is plus. Best played with friend(s) imo, but solo is engaging too. Community in this game is so far the best in MMO I have ever seen, very little toxicity, people are very welcoming and helpful.

Though tbf, would people be having a true RP name in WoW or would they just name themself Poop Poop or some other degenerate stuff ahah!
It will take time to get use to combat. Getting to harder content with random Guilds will ask for dps videos of punching a dummy for 10 mins which can take days to try multiple times to get the highest dps possible. In the trail itself it won’t matter till the last few hp bars where you have to do high dps on the boss. And some dungeons. Tanking and healer is easy but healer be more stressful. Like any mmo. You just be annoyed by some players. Or Wowed by some
I have tried playing eso so many times (as a 17 year wow vet) and can not get past the shitty combat design. Constantly switching weapons/bars and having to fill in light/heavy attacks in the middle of your rotation just feels so bad. I really wanted to like this game.
ESO is the greatest... The only issue is item management... It sucks without the craft bag, which is locked behind a sub, at least until you spend a considerable amount of in-game gold on player/bank space upgrades... Looks WAY BETTER THAN WOW!! 😂😂😂
I was like, ooo someone playing ESO for their first time. But didnt really pay attention, and then when you were having the name issue I went to look and was like. OH wait, your that girl from the Amongus lobbies. lol
The fact this person will judge combat without knowing how to properly weave attacks is why a lot of people leave this game and a lot of the reason i quit random dungeons as a tank/healer... weaving should be explained in combat training to be honest
That’s for the 1 percenters. Don’t even worry about that. just try to use a rotation. The game has been nerved a lot over the years. Anyone can do good damage now if they have decent gear and and use a half way decent rotation
@bravo3six956 I don't think 1% of players weave haha 😆 🤣 if that was the case I'd never ever ever go in pugs ever again 🤣 it's simple to do and increases damage massively
@@dannynicholson50 I do pugs daily for crystals with multiple toons. Been playing since 2016 and I never weave. I have good rotation and that’s it. Run a few one bars also. Weaving is not necessary at all. The game is very simple. Only a few world bosses and dungeons that I decent person can’t solo. So in my humble experience weaving is for the 1 percent and not needed at all to get thru 99 percent of game content
I started ESO on PS4 in lockdown and migrated to PC and started all over again last year. I love to see more people trying it out and honestly, it's such a good MMORPG, I now compare every other MMORPG to ESO now, and for the most part, I can't play any other now because the others are too... distant from the combat in my eyes!
@@Azemys I was the same, I leveled my first character to 36 before going back to PS4... But I tell you, I actually enjoyed it when I got back into it again, don't think of the long grind ahead, just enjoy it as you once did at a lower level! I'm nearly 1000cp now!! 😁
she came from WoW of course she is OG dodging and such in fights haha.. no real need for that in ESO hahaha.. most enemies in ''solo'' play aren't doing much much damage haha ESO is casual friendly AND end game friendly at the same time
Oh goodness, be careful. I currently play both ESO and WoW. If you’re paying a sub for both, WoW is EXPONENTIALLY more rewarding and respectful of your time/money. However, I still have fun messing around in ESO and I have always loved the lore. Both have their charms, but if I had to pick just one, WoW wins by _miles…_
I got this game for 5 dollars and I want my 5 dollars back. World of War craft played absolutely terrible, and this plays absolutely nothing like skyrim. It feels cheap, and outdated even for being made in 2014. Seems like ps2 game that got graphic mods. I felt absolutely nothing playing it, other than "wow, I can't believe Bethesda did this instead of making skyrim multiplayer with a list of gameplay optimizations" Instead they barely increased graphics, did nothing for fps and added mostly bs mods designed by kids who don't understand gameplay.
You’re woman you’re definitely going to pick the character model that looks best or that can be made to look best with the coolest clothing. You’re going to have no regards for the faction that you’re going to be in the abilities you’re going to earn for the class, you choose just so long as you can make your character look good.

Having seen that, I think I'll give it a miss and stick to Skyrim.
The fact this person will judge combat without knowing how to properly weave attacks is why a lot of people leave this game and a lot of the reason i quit random dungeons as a tank/healer... weaving should be explained in combat training to be honest
true!
@@bravo3six956 but I agree rotation is important too rather than spamming random skills
I love to see more people trying it out and honestly, it's such a good MMORPG, I now compare every other MMORPG to ESO now, and for the most part, I can't play any other now because the others are too... distant from the combat in my eyes!
i would love to migrate to pc too but the thought of completely starting over just aint it, why cant their be cross progression 😢
@@Azemys I was the same, I leveled my first character to 36 before going back to PS4... But I tell you, I actually enjoyed it when I got back into it again, don't think of the long grind ahead, just enjoy it as you once did at a lower level! I'm nearly 1000cp now!! 😁
she came from WoW of course she is OG dodging and such in fights haha.. no real need for that in ESO hahaha.. most enemies in ''solo'' play aren't doing much much damage haha
ESO is casual friendly AND end game friendly at the same time
Logs in for the first time, casually wins a rare mount. 😐
ESO content when?
Nice
The faces look better than Skyrim.
Not even a minute in and she has already revealed she knows nothing of the Elder Scrolls lore 💀💀
how lucky can one be
Oh goodness, be careful. I currently play both ESO and WoW. If you’re paying a sub for both, WoW is EXPONENTIALLY more rewarding and respectful of your time/money.
However, I still have fun messing around in ESO and I have always loved the lore.
Both have their charms, but if I had to pick just one, WoW wins by _miles…_
agree
Nord dk master at arms 😂
"a cat animal" mhm
Welcome to not having a life anymore if you get hooked enjoy 😂
doble click roll dodge is not cool XD
"Plays ESO First Time" Sees the 11 minute length video.
Guess it wasn't a hit.
It's just a highlight reel! I post my full playthroughs on my VODS channel here on RUclips, I have 2 episodes out so far! I played 7 full streams :)
خشي جسمس ظاهر الشي 😂😂
cutie
sponsored hypocrite gaming. Zos at its finest
I got this game for 5 dollars and I want my 5 dollars back.
World of War craft played absolutely terrible, and this plays absolutely nothing like skyrim. It feels cheap, and outdated even for being made in 2014.
Seems like ps2 game that got graphic mods.
I felt absolutely nothing playing it, other than "wow, I can't believe Bethesda did this instead of making skyrim multiplayer with a list of gameplay optimizations"
Instead they barely increased graphics, did nothing for fps and added mostly bs mods designed by kids who don't understand gameplay.

You’re woman you’re definitely going to pick the character model that looks best or that can be made to look best with the coolest clothing. You’re going to have no regards for the faction that you’re going to be in the abilities you’re going to earn for the class, you choose just so long as you can make your character look good.
first?
