    What can I say, another great job. If anybody wants a complete picture of the lava field, its extent, height and relation to the local landscape, just check this guy over the last three days.
    For the first time, I've seen how vast the lava field has become to the west, and how close it now is to overtopping the ridges of hills in that direction.
    I almost wanted a couple of arrows to appear and point out the distances to Reykjavík and Grindavík!

    I like how the rows lava ripples coming towards the camera at 90º from the main flow give the illusion of curved valleys similar to glacial valleys in Iceland.

    An astounding amount of sulphur and carbonatite has collected in places. It will weather away in a few weeks so good we have this video.

      Yes, i guess this shows lava composition changes slowly over time as those colours didn't show in the early days. Or maybe they just got covered before they could be expressed.

      @@grendel_nz Sulfer is fluid above a couple of 100's centigrade, it just crystalized by the cooling of the lava, then it got its color back, fluid sulfer is blue

    the drone does a 360*
    it does not go 360 around the crater
    it does not show the back of the crater
    why does no one show that back side???

    It seems, if and when this volcano stops, and things have cooled down, the lucky landowner should be able to make some money sulfur mining.

    Tanto nos falta por comprender de la madre tierra que muchos ignoran eso, han llegado a ver como ella herida por nuestras propias manos y alegres por meses se toman fotos vídeos y selfie, sin pensar que ella solo quiere es recuperarse de tanto daño que le hemos causado. Que triste en verdad .
