In October of 2003, we went to dinner to celebrate my mom's cancer going into remission. We got a big table a bit by the front door. Around a half hour into it, in walks one of the biggest men I'd ever seen in my life. He was wearing a long fur coat, dressed to the 9's. He was also there to have dinner with his family. As Browns fans, we always had a special place in our hearts for Orlando after he nearly lost his career to the eye incident with the referee. It's great to see his son, who was just a boy that night in 2003, grow up to carry on his dad's legacy. RIP to my mom and RIP to Orlando Brown.
I’m a Steelers fan but I loved watching Orlando playing us in 1999 it was amazing just seeing a giant on the field R.I.P Orlando Brown and I’m sorry for your moms death she is in heaven waiting for you
When Bill talks about old players you can tell he really cares about them and remembers them. He may be quiet and hates the press but if you get him on certain subjects like former players he will open up and keep talking. I may hate the Patriot but Bill is a great guy. Orlando Brown jr. will do great and is making his father damn proud to wear the purple and black.
He just loves truly great players. Whether he coached them, or coached against them. Listen to him talk about Ed Reed! He gushes over him like no one else.
@Sho Tohara true and it's clear Triplett didn't mean to do it, he ran over right away, but the settlement should have still be much larger, to permanently damage someone's vision, 35-50million Should have been the settlement.
He does deserve more but you’re still underestimating 25 million. That’s enough to live lower high-class for your entire life without having to work at all.
@@Sam-pg8cs I didnt say it was alot of money, however it was reportedly between 15-25, not exactly 25, so most likely less then that. He also played several years after that, so he was set financially. That isnt the point, its that he was had permanent near blindness in that eye, he should have gotten much more then was settled for is all i mean.
FizzyJarl he’s just immature People wanna judge him from his mistakes but you can tell he’s growing up fast I was telling everyone Baker was the best qb in the draft
Logan Eades joe flacco is horrible I would rather have Nathan peterman than joe flacco because at there is a chance peterman might turn his career around
Being from Baltimore Zeus is one of my favorite all-time Ravens. To see his son doing what he's doing now, the whole story made me shed some tears. Go ahead Jr. Dominate, as your Dad did.
@Sho Tohara Combine is there to add information to the players that the tapes may not show. Each player will be a multi million dollar investment. So they are measured and ran like prized race horses. His drop from the first round was really on him. Cuz it showed a red flag to teams that others also had. Such as Andre Smith from Alabama. Legendary college tackle. Poor combine. Meh nfl career. Good to see Baby Zeus making his own mark tho.
As much as we love to hate Bill Belichick, the man cares deeply for each and every one of his players and I'm sure he could share dozens of stories like the one about Orlando Sr.
This 2018 draft has the potential to be a great one. The mock drafts had us drafting guys like Lamar Jackson and Orlando Brown but we got both AND another first rounder in Hayden Hurst(hasn't played to his level yet, TEs take time to develop). Low-key happy he flunked at the combine. Also happy to get Mark Andrews.
I'm from Oklahoma I witnessed Mark and Orlando every Saturday. And when we drafted them i went crazy. Because I already knew what we was getting. #Boomer #Ravens
A chip off the old block. One of the nicest, most personable young men you'll ever meet! He's been raised right by his mom after the trauma of losing his dad early! Let's go Zeus Jr.! Let's go Ravens! I have renewed respect for BB. He shows he cares a lot for the players and is totally different in his private life.
Bro, this whole thing gave me goosebumps!! And then to have Edwin Mulitalo be the one to announce him as our draft pick, after mulitalo played on our O-line with his dad, and that had been pre-picked that Edwin would announce that pick.. but one word, goosebumps!!
Being from Oklahoma and a Sooner fan I was so hyped when the Ravens drafted him. Despite his combine performance I already witnessed what he could do on the field and he's playing really good for us now!! #Boomer #Ravens
For Bill to speak that high of a person and their child, god damn I'm a die hard Bronco fan but gotta tip your hat at that guy, he is such a classy guy.
Well...I'm very happy that he got to play for his Pop's team..but now it time for him to start his own legacy as a KC CHIEF baby!!! Let's MF'ing GO!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪😂😂
He’s a pro bowler now! Proud father I bet Honestly Bill is a great person despite how you feel about his integrity in question. And a great historian. Would be great for any Top 10 NFL video
It's really unfortunate that Zeus Sr passed away and wasn't able to watch his son play at Oklahoma or now in the NFL for the Ravens because he'd be the proudest father in the world watching his son carry on his legacy as a top tier tackle in the league. Orlando Jr has such a great career ahead of him and will probably be an all pro within the next couple years.
These freak athletes like Zeus give us nobodies guys like me so many great memories. We never forget y'all. Whether you're a gambler, aspiring player, fan, or whatever nothing makes me feel more proud of the quality of our pros. I still have hope for our soccer players 😔
Pretty cool that bill remembers all these things about one of the million players he’s had play for him.
Man was gifted w the nicest memory for football
This man is a all time great
Kinda hard to forget coaching a mountain
You're not wrong, but Zues was a pretty remarkable fellow.
I mean one of the best
Bill gets a bad rap but he's a genuine person beyond the field
As a colts fan at i don't like him but as I watxh these i see how good he is as a person
He’s a scholar of the game, and his appreciation of the past as well as the present are what makes me a fan of his.
Apperently unless your fishing with him according to Jimmy Johnson. Scares away all the fish lol.
I didn’t realize he got a bad rap. I’ve never heard of anybody saying he is a bad person

@utewbing kinda just a lil
Love bill hate baker love Orlando
Yeah faker is great your talking about a bust bro
And he just got named to the pro bowl Orlando Sr. Has got to be so proud
Zeus Jr straight up pancaked TJ Watt couple weeks back! He gon be a beast, just like his father was.
I love him and all but every defender gets pancaked every once and a while. It aint a big thing
I wish he panicked the Steeler who got to Joe and injured his hip. 😑
Speedyreedy1218 ravens 2-0 without him
Will Henson And they began 2-0 with him...
