@@waterloocreek5659 On the opposite side of the head to the injector, above where your exhaust outlet is, there is a small hole in the casting. That is where the lever should be. You can see it on this video: ruclips.net/video/2tRYCzdNs-M/видео.html
Thanks for that I will go out in the morning and take a look. My grandparents bought the engine new to run a lighting plant for their house and to pump water up into an overhead tank. I never saw the engine run but about 40 years ago the shed collapsed on top of the engine. It stayed that way for 20 years. I salvaged the engine and a mate got it started. The engine is worn out with poor compression and sloppy mains. It leaks oil and needs a fair bit of work. The only thing it’s had done to it since the 60’s is that I replaced the gasket between the hopper and block. Thanks for your message👍
