Ok, unpopular opinion: I have never liked this song. I think the original version of this song is overplayed and I think that Celine's version of it is just whiny and nasally. I liked Dan Vasc's take on it because it was different enough that it wasn't like it was the same song. This? This was FREAKING STUNNING. Corvyx is INCREDIBLE and I am SO damn impressed, holy jeez...Thank you so so much Kevin for getting this song in front of DJ...absolutely AMAZING choice and I am SO excited to see more of DJ reacting to Corvyx. Sir, you might have to start having your fans more accessible...sometimes I'm concerned you're going to drop them! LOL absolutely brilliant reaction as always

I read someone saying that while Dion's video has her aboard the proud ship Titanic as she set sail, Corvix's video seems set underwater, as though he is singing from her tragic wreck at the bottom of the ocean. I don't know if that was the video's intent, but it fits so well.

I think the term for that "up and down" vocal you are talking about around the 9:30 mark is a melisma, but I could be wrong. Also, LOVE this cover, Corvyx is so good.
Your reaction to Corvyx cover of “Bring Me to Life” blew me away. I not only subscribed to him on RUclips but also on Patreon. His voice is exquisite. His early covers show his brown eyes, so those light blue eyes are contacts. If I still wore jewelry, I would be in trouble. His cover of Celine is the opposite of Dan Vasc’s. Both covers are better than the original - but in different manners. Dan Vasc put “hair on Celine’s chest” and made it a song of power & strength. Corvyx goes towards the pain and loss. Because I’m losing the man I have loved for 53 years, I must listen to Dan’s cover - even though Corvyx’s is superior - because listening to it convinces me that my heart will not go on. BTW You’re correct: the vocal technique isn’t vibrato, I believe it’s called a trill.
