Dear Andy, alltgough being blind I allways ‘watch’ your stories... the spoken feedback together with the sounds of water, wind, footsteps and other supporting sounds make your stories visual to me!! Been to Scotland so many times but every upload makes my heart itch to go again...! Can you give me some names and album info of many used music you use? Cheers Fred
Thank you for the kind comments Fred, I am glad you are still able to enjoy my film clips - you ask about the music - when I first put a couple of videos onto RUclips I encountered copyright issues so I now use royalty free music from companies like SmartSound and AKM music and chop them up to make them fit the quiet bits on the movies - they are not cheap.
I was there 3 weeks back … and back up there 20th Nov’ for a week, from London, I’m really hoping for the last few 🍁’s on trees .. but hope to do the hike straight from Inverness airport after I get to Affric from picking my car up … ohhh I can’t wait … ✌️🙏… ( which I done back in Jan’ this year )
Your videos make me so happy. I watched all of them in a weekend a few months ago and we decided to get married in Fife because of them. Thank you for all your hard work and wonderful content. Cheers from Canada!
Lovely video as usual Andy. Have been watching for years, and we are always inspired by the locations you have visited. Scotland is our go to holiday destination, and we have been lucky to follow in many of your footsteps. Glen Affric is on our list for our next trip, in 2019. Keep up the good work :)
Used to go regularly in the 70s, looks like some changes around the croft in terms of buildings, and of course the lodge is now owned by one of the Middleton family. Used to be unspoilt, not so sure these days.
Another beautiful video . Unfortunately the very name of Glen Affric is enough to make me shudder . I've been traveling in Scotland for forty years but I have NEVER experienced midges in such concentrated numbers as those in this sheltered place . "Like smoke" is not an exaggeration . The windows of our vehicle turned black and the wipers turned them to sludge . Never again !
Wind turbines look like elegant rotating whale bones producing 'green' electricity, at least thats how I like to see them, much nicer than ugly old pylons..
