I'm a Spurs man but have to say that Clive Allen was one of the most underrated English strikers in living memory. If you consider that in those days not every game was televised, he scored many more fine goals, even at Chelsea and Man. City later in his career.
@@QueensParkRangersMemories He had top level service that season with the likes of Hoddle, Waddle ect ..... most of his goals that season were tap ins but he had so much more in his locker which are highlighted in your upload. You just knew that when the ball landed at his feet that season there was only 1 outcome.

Amazing that Bobby Robson hardly considered him for any England squads.
That season he had for Spurs where he got 49 goals was incredible, best finisher I've ever seen

Should have been capped more for England back then.
Fa cup semi final , and qtr final goals 82 should have been in top 10 .
