Thank you so much sir it has lot of information most helpful for pharmacy students and I hope you can do more videos regarding coop course of Master's in pharmacy
So this was the video I was looking for! So the first thing is I need a supervisor so is it possible for me to have Mr. Raj Rai as my supervisor because I would likely to join the university of saskatchewan in 2023
Hi, Raj cannot be your supervisor. Your supervisor should be a faculty from the University. You need to get a letter from a faculty from UoS stating that they have accepted you as their supervisor. All the best with your application.
HI Shamein, its always a good idea to apply one year in advance as the application process takes around 12-15 months. All the best for your application. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to email us.
In this video, I have interviewed a recent graduate student from the University of Saskatchewan. Hi! You are doing an amazing job! I want to ask you that if i do not have a project work in my PHARM D or any research. Then can i be able to find a supervisor? On what basis i have to write a supervisor for research? Please answer nobody knows that as i have asked many people about it…
Hi Hira, the best way to find a supervisor is to find them based on their field of research. If you can convince the supervisor that you want to do some research work in their field and show some past experience or any other reason that motivated you to pursue your research, I believe you have a strong case.
also it would have been more helpful if you included time stamps as people could be searching for specific thing and wouldn't be able to locate in within the video.
Hari Aarsh and raj this your video was really helpful!! please help me out even i was planning to apply for pharmacy graduate program in thesis Saskatchewan. Which intake (January or September) is good so that i get acceptence response from supervisor.
Hi Sanjay, thank you for your kind feedback. We would personally recommend that you should focus first on getting accepted by a Faculty before applying as it is very important that you get a Faculty guide. You should start by sending out emails to different Faculty members to accept you. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks
Yes you can if the University accepts your application, all the best. If a university gives you the admission letter, the chances of your visa getting rejected are extremely low
I am Zahoor Ahmad. I have done my Masters in chemistry in 2011 and one year b. edd through distance education. I want to do M ed. at university of Saskatchewan or Regina Currently I am a teacher at school Education department. I am at this position since 2011. I checked website of university it shows for M edd you should have 4 year bechlor. Do they need any bechlor or bechlor in education.
This is the second question I'm posting because this video gives really great information on usask .... Does usask accept a 3 year bachelors degree ... My college is NAAC A++ accredited
On an average, a GPA score above 3.5 is good enough to compete with other applicaitons but there are many other factors that can help you to get a positive decision on your application.
I have done project in pharmacology in my undergraduate program so can i do application in thesis based program in university of Saskatchewan because i m looking forward towards Saskatchewan so could you tell us something about this please 🙏🏽
Hi Dev, yes you can apply for a thesis based masters at University of Saskatchewan. Please make sure you mention your project related experience in your application as it would increase your chances of getting approved. All the best.
Hi Abhishek, for a course-based master, the process is really simple and you can find the detailed application process on the website of the University.
Hi, I'm aiming to apply masters in usask for the course applied microbiology, I have a number of publications related to the field and and 73 percent in the last four semesters of my UG .... Do you think I could get admitted .. kindly reply
Hi Shabri, if you have a strong profile with good publications under your belt, you have a very good chance. Please note that the success of your application majorly depends on how you showcase your abilties and skills. All the best
Yes, he did publish a paper during his bachelors. For mail sample, it is really important that you draft your email yourself describing your skills, achievements and your field of research. Using a drafted sample would definitely not help
