It was always a buzz seeing Paul play. What a talent and what a genuinely nice bloke he was. RIP fella, gone too soon, never forgotten.

What a fantastic courageous attacking player he was. These two going at it head to head was a proper snooker treat for the fans!
To think how far he could have gone in terms of world titles....sadly we will never know🙏🏼

So sad, that the trophy he raised in the air triumphantly, would ultimately be rebranded in memory of his contribution to snooker, and for his outstanding contribution to that title in particular.

Watched this many times now.. for me, i feel , if Paul Hunter was still with us RIP, He would have pushed not only Ronnie but Williams, Higgins etc up to another level bringing some awesome matches... still have great matches now but how different it could have been. and Osullivan was right in saying , Paul Hunter deserved it ,,, He did... this match was better than Hendrys come back against Hallet... best way to explain Paul Hunters performances would be to compare his game to some of Freddie Mercurys Lyrics, ... and that takes some doing...
