2023 World Snooker Championship - Funny moments
Reardon, Davis, Hendry and O'Sullivan make up the Mount Rushmore of modern snooker. This conversation between Davis and Reardon sends shivers down your spine. 12 world titles between them absolutely elite.
Still my favourite player ever. Such a humble and incredible player. Miss watching his game.
Best player ever this guy was
What a talent! Fearless! Would have won the worlds multiple times!
KEVIN collins LVE Taf Tude Tude Dublin
Such a beautiful piece by ludvico einaudi
Legend
2 of the best modern players showing total respect for each other,no doubt Paul would have gone on to dominate snooker had life not been so cruel.R.I.P, I lived near Paul in Moortown, Leeds ,saw him quite a few time at Nothern Snooker, casino etc ,amazing talent
Yeah that was an absolute banger 👌
It was always a buzz seeing Paul play. What a talent and what a genuinely nice bloke he was. RIP fella, gone too soon, never forgotten.
This is culture
*Epic!* just plain _epic_ love it!!!!!!
What a master match. Ronnie plays very much ,but Hunter did excellent. Congratulations, Hunter. Thanks, this channel.
Excellent shot
🇨🇦
Cliff Thorburn is a true gentleman a great credit to your country of 🇨🇦 Canada. Lovely to see him back in England. I remember the interview on the BBC in 2023.He is snooker’s Wayne Kretsky Had a beautiful cueing action
I'm sure the late great Paul Hunter would have been a world champion.Sadly gone R.I.P PAUL.❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍
Lame
Bing.
Welsh Legend Rip Sir Doug 👏👏👏
Ronnie makes a good pantomine villian Paul hunter played magnificent Lol rememeber his birds big jugs hahahs some bod on her
The cannon/platt v Judd done it.....
Pleased for him. Okay he’s slow. Not everyone can be Ronnie. Correction: nobody can be Ronnie. But Peter is a ferocious competitor and he got what he deserved in 2002.
I think was the last tournament I played in haha just picked up the game again this year
Wish Stephen Hendry would get him on his RUclips channel.
Peter Ebdon has a reputation as a grinder, and sometimes he did descend into slow grinding play, but when he was full of confidence and averaging just over 25 seconds per shot I found him quite entertaining to watch, he was a great shot maker, often took on brave pots and his shot selection could be unpredictable. That pink vs. Matthew Stevens sticks out as the bravest and most important shot of his career. And that 2002 final was superb, both he and Stephen Hendry scored heavily and made four centuries apiece - it's often underrated and overlooked.
Love it . Omg 17 years ago 🎱🎱🎱🎱
So sad, that the trophy he raised in the air triumphantly, would ultimately be rebranded in memory of his contribution to snooker, and for his outstanding contribution to that title in particular.
This is not the promo video. No hat swapping etc
John Higgins made himself look like a prat here
20 years on and still mopping up 😂
Classic footage chiefy
@@rexxy141 Embarrassing but the story needs to be told 🤣
Thanks for the recap video, recalling all those emotional moments which I will never forget.
thanks so much for uploading all of these. I'm curious as to where you found the footage in the first place and whether it exists from any other WSC tournaments from this era
@@MatthewSeales Back then Australia only got these packaged highlights on Foxtel (cable TV). We got all the main tournaments plus the Matchroom League but the drawback was they aired 3 months after the event, nothing live ever. I didn't keep many others tho I wish now I had've. I went to Sheffield in 2007 so that's why I kept this whole event. But of course after multiple house moves etc I can't find the 07 Final anywhere!
Quality bloke so glad he won a world championship
Fantastic! Not gonna lie, he's one of those guys I probably didn't appreciate at the time, but wow what a character, guys like this make snooker memorable.
Match fixer
Rip Ray Reardon!🥹
Gotta admit it RoS wore it better. The hairstyle I mean.
RIP Ray
South Melbourne's struggles before they moved to Sydney (which happened in 1982) are well-documented, and Fitzroy's decline leading to their merger with the Brisbane Bears in 1996 is a similar story of hardship. Here’s the ladder history for South Melbourne (1952-1981) and Fitzroy (1967-1996) over the 30 years before their significant changes: South Melbourne's Ladder Positions (1952-1981): 1952: 9th 1953: 9th 1954: 10th 1955: 12th 1956: 9th 1957: 10th 1958: 9th 1959: 10th 1960: 11th 1961: 11th 1962: 11th 1963: 11th 1964: 11th 1965: 9th 1966: 9th 1967: 9th 1968: 12th 1969: 12th 1970: 11th 1971: 11th 1972: 11th 1973: 12th 1974: 11th 1975: 10th 1976: 11th 1977: 12th 1978: 12th 1979: 7th 1980: 9th 1981: 10th In 1982, the club moved to Sydney and became the Sydney Swans.
Was never a push shot a 2:35. Absolute jokers cheating a guy like that. Should be ashamed.
So if Ronnie O'Sullivan‘s cue tip didn’t fall off things could have turned out to be a bit different.
Jeez. Give it a rest. O’Sullivan fanboys 😂
The greatest match I’ve ever watched
The old gen meets the new gen, a changing of the guard.
Klaaaasssick!
Hunter was an awesome talent with loads of bottle. I'm glad for videos like this which will keep his memory alive.
Old man showed me this song when i was a young lad, Great aussie history
What a character Ray was
Hendry had still only won 3 world's when he was beaten by Ronnie in 1993. He went on to win 4 more prior to Ronnie winning his first! 1993 was not a changing of the guard; that would happen in 2004 when Ronnie really took the mantle from Hendry in winning his 2nd world title.
The crucible does funny things to you
