Hey image comics !!
This is how it's done !!
Congratulations!!
COOL!! Looking forward to it!! WELCOME!!!
Rippaverse is off to a solid start already, but I gotta say that there's a lot of dope characters they're adding in that I'm looking forward to seeing more of. I didn't expect to see Goodyng get a story of his own so quickly, but he's definitely a character I liked the concept of. That, plus Alphacore and Yaira have my interest for future story lines in this universe. As fans, I think we're eatin' pretty good on this one
The hype is real for the Rippaverse. Excellent work in securing Mike Baron for this book.
Congrats rippa and the rippaverse keep building and keep winning.
Ooh, this is exciting, especially after how they're trying to neuter, The Punisher. I can't wait to see what Mike Baron does when he's not given an ESG script to stick to.
Goodyng was a really interesting character in #2. The idea that he's essentially selling a hero/security service & that he's got no powers intrigued me!
Very cool...this universe is quickly expanding!!!! I love it!!!!!
Awesome! Goodyng piqued my interest in Isom 2 so I'm stoked about this. Already got a good batch of titles cooking.
I imagined him to sound like Nathan Fillion, and then I became obsessed with him! Him and Bloodruth!
I’m loving this. I’m so proud of the rippaverse team. I love the energy from the community and I feel like I felt when I was a teenager collecting books
Cant wait to hear more.
Dope. He was one of my favorite additions to #2. Excited to see what Baron brings to this.
Not a comic book guy but this dude seems serious about his work. Good luck!
lol That is literally every EJ fan. so you're not alone.
Intruder, a Punisher graphic novel by Mike Baron, is a fantastic story. It's pretty gritty, so, if that's your taste, I'd highly recommend it.
Excellent choice
Wow! Congrats Eric!
Wow. Goodyng was already an interesting character to me from the moment he appeared in ISOM. To know that he'll have his own story and book has me even more interested. Cant wait to see what Mike does with his story.
This isn't a surprise this is a natural thing. Same thing I told Chuck Dixon. This IS THE FUTURE. With the greats. With the true storytellers. Phase II coming people. Hang on to your butts.
Eric is assembling the comic book Avengers here. Rippaverse is getting better by the day! #WeAreWinning
Okay you can't say Eric July's business is going to go down under he's got all these legendary comic book authors under his thumb.
Goodyng is a god damn Chad. Based af.
Mike Baron is about to surprise a lot of people with this book.
Dude this is FIRE... Eric July is REVOLUTIONIZING the industry. Haters big mad. REAL creators big PAID. 'Murica!
The samething happened to Image Comics when they first formed, haters from Marvel and DC came out the wood works. LOL. So glad Eric's comics are owned by him and he's independant from DC and Marvel.
based Mike Baron. this is Gonna Be Epic!!
If you are younger or unware of Mike Baron's work do yourself a favor and buy yourself the collected version of Nexus. It's the best 100 + issue run of sci fi hero comics since Jack & Stan's Fantastic Four. It is not your typical superhero book either. It is full of ideas that you won't find anywhere else in comics. It is always fun but it gives you something to think about as well. Baron is a smart man & a great writer. I am looking forward to Polymath
I can't speak to all of his Punisher runs, but I had a copy of Intruder as a kid and it's really good. Definitely worth grabbing if you're into a pretty gritty Punisher story.
Congrats I wanted to bring some characters. Into Eric's Rippaverse.
Speechless 😳
Oh Yeah,This is exciting, excellent news for sure. 🥳🎉🤑
Rock on!
So far, he seems like a mix of Booster Gold and Luke Cage. Booster Gold for the gadget-based hero with the robot companion, and Luke Cage for the fact that he's a hero but not for free.
Where did all the money from the first campaign go? Into hiring industry veterans, apparently. Should be interesting.
And a Colorado native, I gotta give Mike props for the Fort Collins t-shirt!
I think that’s a good use of money, get people who know what their doing to tell great stories and flesh out the Rippaverse.
Loved Private American and Thin Blue Line was a page-turner. I'm definitely looking forward to goodying now. Mike is a seasoned Pro.
First!
Super happy to see the growth of the team!
Okay I see you this is exciting.
I've got one of the Century Edition's of Florida Man #1 (limited to 100 copies). Digging the hat Mike!
Alright looking forward to it!
The Rippaverse is unstoppable.
You guys are rocking!
Sir MIKE.
Stoked.
I knew it!!!!!
Dixon....Baron...., who's next? Steven Grant or Garth Ennis?
Woo hoo!
Not gonna lie... was hoping for Bloodruth. Oh well. Guess I should check out Baron's Punisher. Ennis set a high bar for me though.
Bloodruth may be the other unannounced project of the Soska sisters who are probably the best to handle her character especially with their extensive horror writing and filmmaking background. Her character and style fits them like a glove.
Pullup!
YES! PULLUP MFS!
Think what you will about July he is employing great creators
Congrats!
HYYYYYYPE
This’s exciting
Groovy
Ash, is that you? 😃

Oh my God, I hate you guys. This has been my favorite book thus far and and this is the ending you leave me with? And this isn’t an ongoing yet? Get on this I need this as a monthly.
BROOOO! LFG!
BULLISH
WHen I am a 566th like on a video or a comment I always think... "Tsk! A 100 too soon!"
Trump ❤️
Leftist reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Embarrassing for Mike Baron to be part of this scam.
I hope he's getting a hell of a payday out of whoring himself out like this.
You never give any good reasons how any of this is a scam, which tells me you never think for yourself. Cry harder 😭
Well at least July is gaining some semblance of intelligence and got someone competent to write for him. God knows he can't do it himself lol
This is a bad troll comment. Eric is a very intelligent and creative guy, so much so that he became the most successful independent comic book creator in the entire American industry in more than a decade, perhaps the most successful one since Image comics in the mid 90's. To claim that he can't write himself is a disingenuous nonsensical comment coming from a hater who either didn't read the books - the only 2 so far that have come out - or from a guy that clearly doesn't know what "good writing" is. Eric doesn't have to be on the same level as the top industry veterans who've worked for decades as writers in comics to be considered as a solid writer himself who's done a very good job establishing a whole universe with just 2 comic books so far. He doesn't have to be the "best writer", he is a competent writer with a lot of creativity and as a result Isom 1 and Isom 2 have been very good and provided a good solid start that established the foundations for everything that is to come in the Rippaverse. These characters that are now going to be expanded further by these industry veterans were all created by him and have become fan favorites because they were well designed and well presented in the first 2 books all through Eric's writing and long term planning. Eric made clear - ever since the Rippaverse had launched - that he had the intention of bringing in top talents to help him expand the universe. These developments - that were part of the long term plans for his company from the very start - have nothing to do with his capabilities as a writer, which you clearly and foolishly disregard.
@@rpgadventurer32 It's not, he showed his inability to write his his initial work, the dude can't even spell much less make a quality story and dialog.
If he is so intelligent, then why did he completely make a fool of himself on Rekeita's stream the other night, and then made a bigger fool of himself whining about things he did to himself while blaming rekieta the next day. That is not intelligence, but the exact opposite.
lmao by grifting off of anti woke narratives, not the quality of his comic. Again proven by all his lemmings praising them while self admitting they never even read the thing. Also love how you need to equate the independent part in todays world where you don't need anything to back you in order to produce and be successful.
Again the amount of spelling errors, his poor quality in story, all prove me objectively right. Fuck sakes, the clown can't even say the name of his own characters. like that goldin the polymath guy he called goldin the plymouth or w/e his dumbass said.
Right. But he isn't even on the level of a middle schooler, that is the problem and point. lmao.
A lot of creativity, by infusing rap culture rhetoric into unoriginal stereotypical comic situations ? That isn't creativity, the opposite in fact.
lmao it literally hasn't that was one of the biggest criticism of ISOM 1, it was a jumbled mess that didn't give us any semblance of a foundation.
Really... Created by him...? And yet he can't even pronounce his own characters name correctly... Great logic, but careful. You cope any harder you might OD.
Your last bit is utter nonsense and incoherent ramblings that are entirely irrelevant to any points I made. Quit embarrassing yourself.
@@zephirol4638 Rekieta is a scumbag who hangs out with Dick and Vito. The guy who grifted off of the Vic Mignogna situation so he could land his lawyer buddy a gig and stole all that donated money..that's who you're on the side of?
