Finally! I appreciate you acually giving your opinion on who will most likely want to buy the coilover lift rather than the regular.. Nowadays on RUclips everyone is backed by sponsors, wont give it to you straight, and will just say, "at the end of the day its your choice but they all are good and you can't go wrong" Out of all the RUclips videos iv seen on here not one that tells you who should really be buying what in fear of not buying their product.. so I definitely appreciate a straight shooter. Thanks brother!
I love this guy's reviews and explanations. Im planning on building my own truck and he has taught me so much just through these kinds of videos. Make sure this guy gets a raise haha!
This is seriously one of the best videos I've seen explaining lift kits! I'm about to order a new F150 (or F250, haven't decided yet) and wanted to lift it and now I am quite confident in picking what I want. Now it's too bad I live so far away, or TC Customs would be doing the work! Thanks so much for the awesome videos!!
I would really like to see a video on the difference of everyday driving manners with these different kits. Maybe slap a Hula Bobble Dancer on the dashboard and see how she Jiggy's.
Aside from the mentioned obvious that a coil and strut replacement will maintain your geometry and ride to specs... How is a coil over kit better then a spacer? Do you get better travel? Better ground clearance? Thanks in advanced.
I'm thinking about a 3" or even better a 3 1/2" level with a coil over and new control arm, all to maximize the space around a larger 35 tire with a small poke on a new F150 Platinum, and make it as smooth a drive as I can. Any thoughts about that? And is it possible, and reasonable, to replace the leafs in the rear with springs too, all too make it as smooth a drive as possible? I don't want to waste money, but I'm willing to spend it for a good reason, so money is secondary to comfort and performance, and getting the larger 35 tires that will further increase minimum road clearance.
I have a 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi v8 Rwd/2wd quad cab truck with Rough country bull bar, stock suspension I'm considering doing either a 2" - 2.5 " leveling or do a 3" - 4.5" lift more likely do a leveling kit just don't know what to get i really don't like the spacers aka puck route
Will the coilovers provide any additional lift with the 4" kit? I have the regular 4" BDS kit installed on a 22 F150 but would prefer the truck looked level because it doesn't look level now. And I'm also having rubbing issues with 35's on +1 offset wheels. I was wondering if the coilovers would lift the truck another 1" or would the stance stay the same with the spacers vs the coilovers?
Hi there. Thank you very much for this video. Super informative and very straight to the point. Do you reccomend any installers in Southern California? Thank you
Can you do a video comparing a lift to a coil over level lift? Such as a BDS 4 inch lift to Halo's coil over lift? I want to lift my truck, but I don't like the idea of cutting the frame and not having the option to return the truck back to stock.
Thanks for the information How would you recommend a new set up for my Nissan Titan 06’ with a 4inch lift currently. What’s the best option replace that lift with coil overs or just new components for the current lift?
"You may not need a coilover" i didn't need 6K worth of audio on my F150 but i want it 😂 so im going start saving, I had a 2011 F150 5.0 4x4 with a leveling kit, but it didn't do too bad off road
So if I get one of ur trucks and want the left kit 6in how much more are we looking at price and when it comes to wheels and tires what are my choices and are tires and wheels apart of the the total price?
Mitchell, I have a 2016 f150 XLT supercrew I am debating on whether I should get fox 2.0 suspension kit for my truck to give it a better ride on rough terrain and to give it a better stance, the drawbacks are: I tow a boat and am going to be towing a fifth wheel what do you think? if I tow alot should I? or no? thank you
American Truck Nation are you talking about a leveling system? I have a Fox level system on my 2011 and still tow the same things I did before. It didn’t effect anything as far as that goes. Not sure about yours, but on mine it didn’t do anything in the rear but replace the shocks. It’s been a great kit
Mitchell, I have 2019 Platinum F150. I and looking for wheel and tire package. i like the W/T package @:53sec into the video. What size is the tire? 33or 35?.
IMO, every lifted truck to this stage needs a set of coilovers. yeah, that's $2000+ more but think about it, do you really need panoramic sunroof or heated steering wheel? they cost more than a set of coilovers. ppl who drives their trucks to starbucks wouldn't lift their trucks in the first place.
You sneeze you just bought a frame. I don't think wanna do that now. Frames are expensive good luck finding a good one. Connecting everything to that frame is even more expensive. May as well buy a new truck and start all over again. At least you'll have spare parts
That's nice, John. But this video is for people who DO like lift/leveling kits and WOULD install it on their trucks. Allow us to like what we like, too.
Ford makes it hard to pick an exterior paint color. So many good looking colors.

Good stuff here again!
That blue F-150 look'n sharp in that low light part.
I know I am typically not a fan of that color but when I got to that part of the video I thought: why don't I like that color?
I love the grey f150 really cool truck

This video really helped me decide! I was about to purchase the coilover kit and all I do is drive my truck to work. Thanks buddy!
Glad to hear it! Be sure to give us a call 205-491-0010 and we will hook you up with that lift!
A lot of confusion has been cleared up. In my opinion, Leveling is the way to go. 👍🏾
Just rewatched this video, Mitchell, and I like your blatant honesty. Thanks,

Thanks Mitchell! Another cool and informative video. Those F150's look beautiful!
Bds 4 inch with the 2.5dsc coilovers worth every penny!

Amazing video as always! Cant wait to buy a f150 from you guys some day!
How big of tires could you run on the 2.5 inch BDS level with the factory 20’ rims?
Good job Mitchell, thanks for the information
Would the coil help better the ride and level the truck on a 2021 platinum
Love your videos Mitchell!

What are the rims on the black truck shown at 1:53?

Will the coilover kit give the truck a extra 2 inch lift in the front?
Thanks from Ca. !

My fear too!
@@TimStJohn-xp8rv you can always have them reweld the frame pieces back on I believe
Well explained video.. thanks
Thanks for the information

How does that 6inch lift kit not change the geometry of the CV joints ?
Will BDS ever put out lift kits over 6''?
So if I get one of ur trucks and want the left kit 6in how much more are we looking at price and when it comes to wheels and tires what are my choices and are tires and wheels apart of the the total price?
what size block do i get with the 6in bds coil over kit to make it sit level? 4 or 5 inch?
You are so knowledgeable 👍🏻
Very informative video! How much for a 6 inch lift for a 2019 STX 2wd? BDS
Great video! Thx

@@No_nonsense302 you know thank you for that I had no idea if the rear would be moved at all
If you can cut it out, you can weld it back in 😜👍
If you do the 2 in lift do you have to do anything to the rear? Do you need different shocks or anything?
Nah
why did my colision warning camera stop working after my leveling kit was installed
excellent video
Good video
Where you located ?
What kind of tires and size if tires do you have on your truck.
35" Raptor Tires on a Normal F150?! ruclips.net/video/ZzCEZQtMI_w/видео.html
So what you’re saying is a coil over lift kit don’t lift it?

cut to much and you just bought a frame........ right. or you can weld it back on. you know.
Nice!!
U loose payload in bed of u lift a truck I learn hard way my back end broke $2000 fix

How about talking about lowering kits?
I feel like this dude is a cross between Ted Cruz and Easton Corbin. 60% Ted.
the best kits is NO kit at all
You’re saying a coilover kit is not a lift kit??
Lol cutting frame....hell no
I would never install a leveling kit and a lift kit or a coilover kit on any of my trucks!!!!
That's nice, John. But this video is for people who DO like lift/leveling kits and WOULD install it on their trucks. Allow us to like what we like, too.
