- Lindsay Lohan is disputing that she never had an eating disorder as was reported to have told Vanity Fair magazine. She and her spokesperson say the quotes she gave to reporter Evgenia Peretz about bulimia were taken out of context. The words that I gave to the writer for Vanity Fair were misused and misconstrued, and Im appalled with the way it was done, the singer/actress wrote in an e-mail sent out by her publicist to various media outlets. Aside from (the writers) lies and changing of my words, I am blessed to have this job and wonderful family that I do. Vanity Fair quoted Lohan on her drastic weight loss last year: I was making myself sick, she said. The article, written by Peretz, noted Lohan was referring to bulimic episodes. Vanity Fair, in a statement of its own, stood by its story. Evgenia Peretz is one of our most reliable reporters, the magazine said. Every word Lindsay Lohan told her is on tape. Vanity Fair stands by the story. Could it have been a misunderstanding between Lohan and Peretz? Was Lohans I was making myself sick remark referring to her late night partying and diet - but not bullimia - combined with her busy work schedule
And the sad thing is, we'll never know exactly what was said in that Vanity Fair article, because after everything that happened, her publicity team put the kabosh on interviewers asking her exactly what she meant to say, which was (and still is), really fucked up, TBH.
She had it on tape.....
