My white es335 diamond has aged to that creamy yellow colour you mentioned. In 2019 after an ava show i asked DK if his had done the same and he said no.
Here's a fun fact about one of the compass guitars: it was purchased by one of the biggest Russian RUclipsrs, Max +100500 He's a longtime blink fan. The last time he used the guitar was in a music video for his band, 2nd Season, for their song "Чужой тебе" ("Stranger to You").
He had them in each colour. White black and pelham blue. From his tours from 2019 onwards he only used 2 white ones. I think he sold all his other guitars in the delegacy sales 5 years before that
Is it just me, but I have always got the feeling David never tracked for AvA. Always seemed like Tom played everything. I hope I am wrong and obviously he played live but have any of you found anything indicating he tracked on the records?
If you watch the Start The Machine doc, there are a few scenes where David is recording, or they are picking out a guitar for David to use. But I'm pretty sure he only did rhythms. All of the lead parts, even the ones David did live, Tom recorded
@@slimkickens I watched it a few times and it almost seems like he is there for suggestions and ideas (kind of cheerleading in a way) rather than tracking. At least that’s the vibe I got.
@clfnole there's a scene (I can't remember if it's in the special features or main film) where Tom is helping him pick out a guitar to use for a part. And there's a scene where David records a part and Tom goes "Fuck! That was great David!". AND a scene where David asks Tom if he should play an octave with or without the open A string, and Tom tells him to play it with the A. So he definitely did some recording
Thanks for watching everyone!! Don't forget to check out @davidjohnsully's Part 1 of him PLAYING David Kennedy's guitar. Link is in the DESCRIPTION!
david kennedy is still super underrated in the blink-sphere
Live you never ever hear him make mistakes. And he has some sick moves
Wtw is the best, funny, that it was my answer and you did it too😂
Let’s gooooo 🤘🏻
Woooooo!!!
I have 2 of his es335 diamonds i play on my channel. A white one and a black one. Works of art!
On the ava tour in 2019, DK used 2 white es335 diamonds. One had the dirty fingers bridge pickup, the other one didnt, seemed just stock pickups.
Pretty sure they both were DF’s just one had a cover
First! Great video for a sunday
Hope to enjoy!!

Awesome info guys! Sir DK rules! Did David own any of the other 335s or just that one white one? Try to get him for an interview!

Stefan can we please get a video demo of the Mutt pedal with your Tom gear?
100% I’ll post a couple short vids on our IG and YT. It’s soooo good!

@@slimkickens I will look for it again. Glad that’s the case I always felt bad thinking they only let him play live LOL.
talks about hardcore and mentions new found glory and yellowcard :D These are not hardcore bands my friend
True but the players have hardcore roots 😊 but you’re right, the bands are 100% not haah
