Picking & Pickling Ramps

  • Welcome back to Cooking With The Chef & The Bee! In this episode, we will go out and forage for some ramps (aka: wild garlic, wild leeks, etc.) and go to Chef Dan's kitchen and pickle them. In the next episode, we will make ramp pesto with the leftover leaves.

    Thinking of getting permethrin for the ticks..in northern vt as well and they are bad this year..
    Just can't have inside if you have cats due to it being toxic.

    Can I use Himalian salt instead of table salt?

      Absolutely. I wouldn’t use table salt at all though. Either kosher salt, sea salt, or Himalayan is fine.
