    For those of you who were wondering, the 'Great Cornholio' that Mike Judge used for Beavis's alter-ego is actually from this game.
    'Great Cornholio' refers to someone who gets 4 out of 4 in the hole in one inning. It's also known as a 'four-bagger'.,
    True story!

      Hello! I've been watching your videos lately, and the way you explain it is very easy to understand yet very entertaining. I hope you can make a video about Arnis (also called Eskrima/Kali). I'm from the Philippines, and it is a traditional sport here. Yes, it has a lot of variants, but with your approach, it can open the minds of foreigners who are new in hearing this sport. If you can do it, I highly appreciate it. If you can't for some reason, I'll understand.
      Much love from a Filipino viewer!

    Since quarantine started here in WA state, I bought some bags and boards and have been playing this with my family and by myself, pretty much non-stop. Thanks for the rules video! I had all the rules correct except for when you receive no points for a bag that bounces from the ground and onto the board. I always thought those throws counted, but nope! I further read that of that happens, then the players should clear the board of those bags before continuing.

    These guys clearly don't know how to play. You need to hold a beer in your other hand for balance. Both teams must have an alcohol content of at least 0.08% to be able to play this game properly. Any lower and the inevitable argument about what counts as "on the board" may not end in violence.

    Hi Ninh. Love your vids. Sorry I may have missed here how does scoring work for bags which are deflected in by the next shot? e.g. opponents shot or your own next shot. Do they turn into 3pts or do they remain 1pts? What constitutes in the hole? Through the hole and touching the ground, 50% through? What if there is a pile of bags under the board stopping the bags from dropping?

    • @NinhLyUK
      @NinhLyUK  5 лет назад +3

      To answer your questions:
      1) If it was in the count, and then knocked in the hole - that one point turns into three points. You don't score 1+3. The easiest way to count it is to work out all the scores at the end rather than during the throws ... which is exactly what I mentioned in the video.
      2) The bag has to physically fall through the hole. If there is a pile of bags that may hinder bags falling in, either player can ask for a rake - and the bags underneath are flattened to the floor.
      Thanks.

    I've known about most of the rules of cornhole before I watched this, but do you think Kanjam is based on this game?

      @NinhLyUK  5 лет назад

      I'm not sure what Kanjam is?

    • @cyndie26
      @cyndie26 5 лет назад

      Ninh Ly You and your teammate throw a frisbee at a cylinder with a slit in it. If it hits the cylinder, you get a point. If it lands inside the cylinder through the top, you get three points. If it lands inside through the slit, your team wins. Your teammate is allowed to slap the frisbee in order for it to hit or land inside of the cylinder. The first team to 21 wins, but going over 21 points means your score is reset back to 15 and the opposing team can have a shot at redemption if you win.

    • @NinhLyUK
      @NinhLyUK  5 лет назад

      Ah, then yes - it does sound like Kanjam is based from this game as the rules are almost identical.

    America’s *real* pastime
    We call it ‘bags’ in Wisconsin. Also almost everyone plays to exactly 21 here and if you go over, you reset your score to 11. A lot of people make their own boards and bags too. Usually play while tailgating in the parking lot before a baseball or football game.
