@@masonban1 I don’t quite agree. She made good connections and tried to keep people together at one point. Had she not been blindsided, she had potential to do very well and possibly make bigger moves. That is why she deserves to play again along with Kaleb and maybe Emily.
Definitely the highlight of the season, I was gutted when she got voted out. Her & Kaleb has to be locks to return for a new era season. However, her mistake was taking ownership of to lying Bruce and announcing it to the tribe, also telling Austin & Drew that she’s targeting Julie before Bruce went home. Jake’s final words to her when walking away was damn true.
Her mistake was sending Bruce out instead of Julie. She was so laser focused on getting Bruce out she didn’t see the threat in keeping in all those Reba’s
@@RealityLionEntertainment I think a lot of them failed to see that (Katurah & Emily). Jake seen how strong they was, but couldn’t rally anyone to see that.
Honestly, Emily is one of the best redemption arcs Ive ever seen on reality TV. She's definitely a lot like Sophie in terms of how she played the game and went on this journey. It sucks that she doesn't wanna return anytime soon but I hope she comes back cuz she's amazing TV and a solid player.
Easily the star of the season. She went on a full journey and was definitely the most interesting player. If we don't see her play again, it will be very disappointing.
I don't get the story about her full journey. As a POC, it was unnerving how HARD she came at 3 POC from the jump. In Wikipedia terms, Kaleb played the role of the Magical Negro (look it up) and helped Emily realize how poorly she plays the game. She gave a half hearted attempt to help when he was in trouble and never gave him credit for saving her butt. (many fans fail to give Kaleb credit as well) I don't get all of the people who suddenly were cheering for her as their favorite or lauding her for her journey.
Emily was soo lucky she had a Kaleb on her initial tribe instead of a Tevin. Kaleb made sure to build Emily up to benefit her socially and strategically by pointing out the flaws she has and communicate ways to rewrite those flaws to help her. Tevin recognised the flaws of Venus and used them to separate her from the rest of the tribe and socially isolate and ostracize her; building a very negative perception of Venus that destroyed her chances of ever doing well in the game. Had Emily been on a tribe with Tevin, he would have done everything to make Emily's experience miserable and have little chance to redeem herself.
I hope shes invited back on another season. I think she has learned a lot and would do even better a second time around. Definately capable of winning the whole thing.
@@TampaBayGator20 I watched the interview too. It’s unfortunate but at least it makes room for other returning all stars from Season 45 like Caleb Austin or even Jake.
I started really not liking her, but ended up rooting for her and got so sad when she got voted off. The same way I felt for Dom (Ghost Island). I really liked the character development she had on the show. And that’s one of the reason why I still watch this show.
Super polarizing, in my opinion. She started off bad, had a killer recovery arc, and started to fall at the end of her game, at least in my opinion. As much as i loved her in the premerge, her merge game was much quieter than i would have liked, and i feel like she became just another reba.
