If you are looking for other videos, beyond the few I have for chemistry, I highly recommend @ProfessorDaveExplains
He has a wealth of content, and it is very well organized into playlists by type of science and math.
Ha, middle school. I'm taking college chemistry and watching this. xD
Future Tropics same
Same 😂😂😂😂
Same. But at least it's review...
@@KindredGh0st I have a test coming up and have no clue well don't remember anything so here I am trying to learn 6 hrs worth of chemistry by myself 😂😭😭😭😭
once upon a walking dead PLL well good luck and i pray for you
I have learned more in a 7 minute video,than i did at a 1 hour and 30 minute lecture
{Nightingale } SAMEEEE
Its funny how schools and colleges teaches you how to beat around the bush rather than diving straight into solving the problem and presenting the solutions
I knowww

Me, in 10th grade: 😳
dude im in 7th grade and this is real easy. the school needs to work out their stuff
😂
me in 11th grade
@@evilyncraft3592 same lmao I’m so lost this is sad
Same here dude, I completely forgot how to do this for chem.
Learned more in 7 minutes than I did in 12 years of school.
Random User not everyone learns the same way. don't be an asshole.
Fwee TIME and you used the wrong than so you seem *dumb
Bro chill
Please bro, we didn't learn anything, don't pretend we did. If we did we would've known this already
Let me rephrase, we didn't learn for 12 year
We need more teachers like this who are willing to make youtube videos for their students
I'm glad you appreciated it
Yeah That's true
Yeah That's true
if you want math help there is an amazing teacher youtuber named David Smeeth!
Me whispering to myself during a test: "atomic maaaaaaaaassssssss"
LOL. You should hear me explaining ductility. After reminding them what it looks like to pull on the opposite sides of a warm LaffyTaffy, I make loud quacking noises as I pull my hands apart. And every time I say valence electrons in class, I make a loud licking noise, because I when you lick a jaw breaker, no matter how many shells of candy flavor there are, you only taste the outermost shell.
Whatever helps you remember, use it.
I'm gonna remember this🤣
@@michaelferguson_staff-east6949 how do I round up for the extra decimals
@@Brooke_4life round to the nearest whole number. So if I had 5.6, I could round that up to 6 because 5.6 is closer to 6 than 5. Just round it and change it to the nearest whole number it's at. If that kinda makes sense
@@uzoamakaebin259 Yea if it’s even 0.1 more then it’s still gonna be 6
Literally my science teacher made it seem so complicated and hard. I figured this out from this video in less than 4 minutes. Good video. :)
Right!
Yes like there was no reason to babble on you could’ve just told me this
Anyone els that didn’t pay attention in online school?
Yep and this was my homework for Friday and here I am doing it on Monday
Hope you get the hang of the new normal

Just learned how to do this and I feel happy with my life and will not drop out of college so thank you!
I am doing this in 6th grade
@@spencerhopkin3233 after awhile you forget the basics. Like I forget how to multiply because I’m so used to doing other complicated equations that don’t really involve the basics. this man taught me this in 7 minutes while my teacher has been trying to explain this to us for a week
yess but my teacher sucks. he never responds to my emails or helps me and i was away for a week. at my school, thats 15 HOURS of science i missed. so this video rlly helped me
@@kianaleigh5165 yeah 💀
Learned more from this than sitting the 2 hours of class
I'm glad you found this useful
Omg!!!! Thank you thank you! Learned this literally, less than 5 minutes!!!
You are so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful
this video was five years ago yet this video’s still a big help to many students. thank you!
thats helped alot cuz the old quiz i got a bad mark cuz i didnt understand it and now i am at the final exam
I never - in my whole life - saw someone write the number 8 like you do.
I write my 8 like that too

I was VERY confused with protons electrons and neutrons calculation. Now I know it, thanks to you sir!
i learned more from a 7 minute video then from my teachers in 12 years- 2020
Nahhhh. That's really true.
This is encouragable, and the teaching is calming and more understandable than the verbal communication I experience at school(Probably I was just not attentive). Makes online class interesting and hope in. I pray you are also like that to your students, even though we don't get it so many times at first. Thank you.
Thank you, I am confident I will pass this part of exam. Your column is so organized, it helped ALOT!
was strugling on this topic for a whole year and learnt the basics in 8 min video, thanks !
Lol my homework is the same worksheet that he is doing 😱😂😂🤣

I'm so glad you found it useful.
I'm was watching videos for passing time, stumbled upon this and actually learnt. Thanks a ton, loved the simplicity.
The most easiest explanation i've ever heard for this topic. Thank you!
Thank you! Helped with my home work!
Im in middle school learning this stuff, thank you this was very helpful.
I'm so glad that you found it helpful!
This was such a simple and concise video, I loved this video and the fact that you added examples as well, thank you so much and I got practice in, so I could be ready for my upcoming exam I really appreciate you teaching this!
THANK YOU. I was trying to find a video to show my homeschooled 5th grader about how to find electrons from the periodic table, but all I could find was videos much more advanced about how to find electrons from ions that weren't on the table, hence charged +\-. I just wanted to show her how to find it from the table!! Lol so thank you!!!
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaass
Thats alot of likes
Right...I love it!
Thank you so much Mr. Ferguson you had explained the concept a lot more apprehensively then my teacher. Thank you for making this video, Here I was thinking I was going to fail my test Have a great day
Watching this before my exam tomorrow, and I've never learned something so quick that includes math in it, TYSM!! 😢
Thank you, for helping me with this! I subscribed. I’m a paramedic student in college here in Portland, Oregon. I will recommend your channel to my student peers!
MAAAAAAAAAAAASS 😂😂
thanks for the vid, sooo helpful
You are good teachers
Taking Pre reqs for nursing school and this has been the most helpful intro to o chem video basics I’ve found
Thank you so very much for your video lesson. It helps significantly in mastering each concept. Thanks again!!!
Thanks Mr. Ferguson!
I learnd all my chemistry lessons in 7 mins wow
I'm glad you found it useful
I can never hear what my teachers says in online school, so this was SUPER helpful! Especially 20mins before my quiz.
I hope you did well on the quiz!
this is literally the only video i’ve watched for school that’s helped me

This helped out for my upcoming test, thank you.
Well I’m failing my science tomorrow

me too
Me too
man i swear this chem is bs
You just helped a mom and wife, who is currently finishing her nursing prerequisites (microbiology and A&P II). I needed this! Thank you!!!
I'm so glad you found it useful! When I went back to school to become an engineer after my time in the Marine Corps, I was a husband and a father. I was also a much better student because I was more mature, and because I was a husband and a father; however, I was also working harder to make up for lost time. I was in class with kids that took the prerequisite class 2 weeks ago, and I took it 8 to 10 years ago. Unfortunately for me, this was in early internet days (dial up modem) and long before RUclips.
I saw your video during class and I think you should become my teacher because I’ve learned more from you in a couple minutes than to my regular teacher whose been teaching me for weeks
you helped so much thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Me and my classmates
*ATOMIC MASSSSSSSS*
Thanks sooooo much, I have an exam tomorrow and this is super helpful, this taught me more than my chem teacher EVER could
Thank you for explaining everything so clearly teacher in middle school you are great !! A college professor does not explain anything especially now with everything being online he gave us a RUclips video and does not do lectures not sure how we're supposed to learn that way.. so thank you !!
I'm glad you found it helpful. Keep in mind, that most college professors would probably expect students to have had some basic instruction on the periodic table of elements in middle school and high school. Everyone learns at different paces, and what we learned before, doesn't always stick with us for a very long time. Your professor has to design their curriculum around some set of expectations. I'm sure they did not expect to give lecture time to this, and on the plus side, this allows each student to spend as much time as they need either reviewing the material, relearning it, or coming at it for their first time.
I'm really flattered that they thought to include a link to my video.
Atomic MaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAASASASSS
Thank u so much I am taking my honors midterm next week and really needed to review!!!!

Thank You So Much for this Video! Very well Explained. I hope that I’ll have a Good Score or a Pass on my Science Test tomorrow.
God bless you!! I am a high school graduate studying for the ASVAB! Haha

This is so much easier than I thought, thank you!
Why is this helping me in grade 11 if its grade 8 work? 😂
But it's good

I hope finals go well. Remember to try and be well rested. Sleepy minds do not function well.
honestly tysm for this im doing triple science gcse in the uk and i never got explained this fully nevermind as clear as you did!!! i appreciate it sm lol tyty
Unbelievable, I'm not even taken Chemistry, but Physical Science in college with an online instructor that has gone mad. And this man is teaching this to eighth graders. I am feeling embarrassed for my instructor. Thank you sir, I really needed this. I think she was designed to make me fail. Trust and believe when I say me, I really mean many of us. I pray that he don't do like the rest. Wanting you to pay for apps just to solve a problem. I guess about now we should know that they want EVERYTHING to have a price tag. Yet they wonder why America's education level SUCKS.
Well I’m getting a detention for not completing my home work
Ouch.
thank u so much holy shit my teachers are cheeks
Thank you Now I go it
Yep I'm another genius who came here because I totally already knew this in primary school.... NOT... This should be the first link in google for periodic table "anything. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Your welcome! I'm glad you found it useful
Literally wish they dumbed it down like this when I was learning this in school. Great video thanks
Best explanation for reading the periodic table....
This is helping me a lot. Still in highscool chemistry but I was a little confused
Taking college principals of chemistry and my man I need you as my teacher 😭subscribed keep it coming
I'm glad you found it helpful.
THANK YOU THIS MADE SO MUCH MORE SENSE
Eventhough made 4 years ago, this was very helpful!!!
Part of the beauty of the periodic table is how it continues to grow with new elements being discovered (or created in high energy physics experiments), and yet the underlying structure of the table still holds true.
I WAS CRYING CUZ EVEN "THE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY" site was not helping i opend this and found it very helpful thx i subscribed with joy
Really appreciate you doing this. Just a quick catch when going over lithium you verbalize 7 + 4 when you mean 7-4 when finding the neutrons.
Thank you so much! My son is just starting to understand the periodic table thanks to you!
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing. This was a lot of help!
Thank you this helped my daughter alot in chemistry., She's in 9th grade, she have exam tomorrow on chemistry:) thanks sir.
