I think hasta should also be involved because most of my friends who are docs have hasta moon. Hasta comes in virgo and virgo is the general “6th” sign!

I feel the houses of healing are generally 5th house and 11th houses and not 6th or 8th or 12th, because 6th house denotes debts, obstacles and diseases while 12th from it will indicate absence of the matters related to 6th house. 12th house denotes hospitalisation and its a house of loss, how can it be related to healing???
we can approach it in this way- houses of diseases and hospitalisation are 6th and 12th, and houses of healing are 5th and 11th . so the objective of doctor is to cure diseases, so there has to be a strong relation between ascendant/moon with these houses.
