Review: Harbor Freight Mechanics Roller Stool

I have used this roller stool for over a year. It works well, but there are two things that I had to fix:
1. The socket holders that I got from Harbor Freight don't. In the video I use a simple method to bend these.
2. The bolts for the casters hit so they won't turn. I 3D printed some spacers that did the trick.

The brace bars are supposed to go down underneath the box instead of off to the side. That’s how the display model was assembled in the store. The directions have them going off the side like you have them, and it confused me too until I went back to the store to check out the display model. You also have to be aware of the length of the bolts. The slightly longer ones are to be used with the braces.

Kinda defeats the purpose of having the trays if you want to keep the socket holders
