Everyone's talking about how terrifying Arcueid is in the Ciel routes but I can't help but think it's adorable how even after becoming a basically all-powerful luminary all she's really doing is just throwing a city-sized tantrum because Shiki likes Ciel more than her. And rightfully so. How dare you Shiki.

The ticking clock sound with the haunting organ getting faster and faster is the best way to build tension and make someone feel more and more stressed as the track gets more distorted I only know a bit about tsukihime but man is this track so good

@@Moon1tan The r*pe in the og tsukihime isn't that bad, and can be skipped/avoided almost entirely. If you are interested, I'd recommend you at least give it a try, as the remake changes the story pretty significantly from the original.

It's amazing how they improved the Ciel route. Arcueid in this route's finale was really scary and threatening and her True Ancestor nature was depicted to perfection.
Yeah. A shame arcueid route wasn't improved to a similar degree. They even removed a happy end for her which stinks considering if this is like the original this is the last time she even shows up in the story of tsukihime. I hope there is more for her in the future.

@@poppiwp4193 all I've heard from people who have read the whole remake is how ciels route is so much better than arcueids route and how ciel has so many more fights and opportunity to act like a heroine and so much more personal character development with Shiki and herself and the other characters like noel and the school gang. Arcueids route may be decent as an opening route , but many of the more interesting parts just feel incomplete due to being mere set up for the rest of the remake and I got too much of the sense of an exact retread of the original in many places. It's just unfortunate a lot of the writing chops ive heard nasu put into ciel route to show how he's improved in 20 years wasn't done for the main heroine as well personally. I've only read the arcuied route part of remake so maybe I'll change my tune when I read ciel route(waiting for a real translation on that one) but as of right now I prefer the manga to the remake arcueid route, although I enjoyed the vlov battle for what it's worth. I don't know if nasu actually has any plans for arcueid in the future like you say, but I don't realistically know what could be added at this point considering her route is already written.

The second worst thing is “modernizing” designs that were perfect or near perfect to begin with. Tattooless Mash Face Ciel, and Miniskirt Arc hurts me. I’d even be fine if new Red Arc’s split granny skirt was the norm, but the fact it is only for Red Arc really bothers me. They even gave Remake Arc multiple outfits so the miniskirt had no reason to overtake the classic look. Also I miss her prominent hair vents, it’s a classic anime look we don’t get anymore.

the funniest shit about ciel route for me is,in normal end and true end,shiki pretty much sliced arcueid's neck in the same way, actually he's even more aggressive in normal end where he did an additional attack beforehand(didn't do any damage since he didn't aim for the lines on her neck). the only different thing that shiki did is what he said after arcueid pinned him down,so the deciding factor of arcueid being a bit scary (normal end) and arcueid being absolutely batshit crazy insane (true end) is literally a couple lines of dialogue
