The corpus of hadith (sayings attributed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad) contains more explicit prohibitions of images of living beings, challenging painters to "breathe life" into their images and threatening them with punishment on the Day of Judgment. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Every painter will go to Hell, and for every portrait he has made, there will be appointed one who will chastise him in the Hell." Ibn 'Abbas said: If you have to do it, draw pictures of trees and other inanimate things.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "كل مصور في النار يجعل له بكل صورة صورها نفس فيعذبه في جهنم" قال ابن عباس: فإن كنت لابد فاعلا، فاصنع الشجر وما لا ورح فيه" ((متفق عليه)).

وقوله ﷺ: رؤوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة قال بعض أهل العلم: إنهن يعظمن الرءوس بما يجعلن عليها من شعر ولفائف وغير ذلك، حتى تكون مثل أسنمة البخت المائلة، والبخت نوع من الإبل لها سنامان، بينهما شيء من الانخفاض والميلان، هذا مائل إلى جهة وهذا مائل إلى جهة، فهؤلاء النسوة لما عظمن رءوسهن وكبرن رءوسهن بما جعلن عليها أشبهن هذه الأسنمة.
أما قوله ﷺ: لا يدخلن الجنة ولا يجدن ريحها فهذا وعيد شديد، ولا يلزم من ذلك كفرهن ولا خلودهن في النار كسائر المعاصي، إذا متن على الإسلام، بل هن وغيرهن من أهل المعاصي كلهم متوعدون بالنار على معاصيهم، ولكنهم تحت مشيئة الله إن شاء سبحانه عفا عنهم وغفر لهم وإن شاء عذبهم،
