as an american that has used some pretty intense stuff I started at 300 every other day and I love it. It is a little bit sensitizing so I usually limit myself to doing my retinoids and moisturizing treatments after like only hydrating skincare or putting on a sheet ask to go to bed after. I have been using the VT masks in the yellow box w vitamin c or the 50 pack of retinol masks from Kose. I got all of it through amazon for speed or stylevana because everything there is dirt cheap and I'm patient when it comes to backstocking skincare.
If you're a weirdo like me it feels sort of like when you hold a cactus right up to the point before it hurts.

When I was at the VT cosmetics store in Myeongdong, the lady let me sample the 700 on my hand and it stung for a good 2-3 hours after hahahaa. Please start low at 50/100 especially if you have sensitive skin!
I've heard people say it hurts more on the back of your hand than your face because the skin is thinner and less fat BUT 700 is pretty up there.

I actually think the BY 300 is priced really fairly… it’s effective and since you only use it 2-3 times a week the bottle lasts a really long time.

I don’t think vt reedle works for everyone. I tried using vt 100 once a week and my sensitive skin couldn’t handle it. I really wanted to love it but unfortunately it was too much for me, and I got a rash. People with sensitive skin should do a patch test and see if it works for them
how long the effect shows up? one day after usage or more than one day? because I have a rash now in my forehead, which i dont know whether it's the result from anua cleansing oil or this VT 100. 😢

This seems to be trending a lot, the Japanese skincare RUclipsrs I watch are all talking about this, VT is also so popular there. I am curious to try it but am kind of scared that it might hurt. I might get the lowest intensity one
I sandwich it with ceramide toner tho to lessen the stinging effect until I got used to it.
I use the 300, and I don’t think it hurts at all. It tingles a bit, but it doesn’t hurt or feel uncomfortable.
Thank you for including information about acne skin!!! I know micro needling is not really recommended for acne prone skin and it's so difficult to find actual information if it's a new korean product 😭 if you say they did some tests it's actually quite reassuring! Thank you will try to get my hands on them 😫🥰

@@singhaarzoo3593 if someone has very severe acne it's probably still not recommended, but I don't think this would cause the same risk of irritation and infection as micro needling (that can even bring acne to people who used to not have it). It probably penetrates the skin slightly more than low molecule AHA, so I think it should be okay to use, as long as you avoid areas with some really bad pimples, to be sure. But I haven't tried it yet so it's just my thoughts!
I tried the serum at 100 for the first time. It was not as painful as i thought. Just slightly tingling but i wont count it as pain.

I just used the 100 tonight, for my face it was ok. BUT my under chin/neck is having a breakout so I put some there too, now its all super itchy and red. I'll try it to my face for now and will skip the neck area.

Can you use the VT Reedle on your neck?
I’m waiting for a delivery I am starting with 50. But since then I’ve seen a dermatologist on RUclips and she will not use it because she’s not sure what happens with the spicules inside your skin, which now scares me 😮
On olive young in the information page of this product it mentions all of the research and testing they’ve done for it. The spicules are actually not small enough to actually fully penetrate the deep skin layer and they note that the reedles come off with the skin’s natural shedding cycle.

Super late reply, but I carry up the 100 to my undereye. After the second night I woke up with a tiny little bruise (looked like a single petichae) but it went away after a couple days. Totally worth it tho, this stuff rocks. It's a non negotiable part of my routine

@@carolina-kw5hx I actually stopped 😔 the first week (every other day) was fine, but then it started flaring my eczema and making my skin sensitive. I think if you don't have any skin barrier issues, you'd like it, but it didn't work out for me. I think I could probably get away with it maybe once a week, but didn't want to risk it.
