  • New review for S.S. Rajamouli’s EEGA!
    This film is BANANAS 🍌
A man is killed and comes back as a house fly to seek revenge on the man who killed him. A simple premise that is original, hilarious and action packed.
With every film of his, I become a bigger Rajamouli fan, and EEGA is (possibly) his most fun and wildest movie ever.
Any fan of RRR needs to do themselves a favor and put on Eega as soon as you can.
    Currently streaming on Netflix

You took it in the right spirit! So many weird people complain the film isn't realistic...or just too crazy. Very literal people. Glad you are having so much fun with SSR. Thanks for sharing!

Yes Eega is original Telugu version name.
Thanks for watching it in original Telugu language.
I liked your articulate enthusiastic, energetic review of RRR & love for SS Rajamouli & his filmography.
British web series got inspired by Eega & made man vs bee starring Mr bean star.
Sad news is British BAFTA intentionally snubbed RRR today just like how they snubbed Raju's promotion in RRR after the mob fight
So RRR is right about the colonizers 100 years ago & now too.
    Edit:
    6:40 You mean Goldberg machine??
    Fun fact:
Rajamouli made Eega(The fly) as a revenge on a producer & made it a blockbuster at that time.
Basically Rajamouli was mocked by a producer that he could make blockbusters with only star heroes or else his films would have failed (as Rajamouli doesn't know the meaning of a flop in his entire career)
So he took that as a challenge & launched a mission with a new comer like Nani & even he was killed just to prove that "I can make a blockbuster without any Hero or even with a mere fly for that matter"

Eega appeared twice in RRR. At David's name plate during Ram intro scene and at the hand of Ram's dead mom.

When it comes to logics we can criticize on many films from West but we don't do that, because we don't have that custodian mentality like white scrap developed over 400 years right from it's colonization to USA unipolar world.

I've watched the same 4 SSR films you have and have pretty much the same reaction to all of them (and him). I'm trying to track down "Magadheera" next cuz it has our boy Ram Charan in it, but I want to watch it in Telugu, not a Hindi dub. I've watched "RRR" numerous times, and enough reaction/review vids on YT to probably bump it up to double digits, and I can't get enough. I'm seriously obsessed with this film. On a side note- 06:40 you're thinking of a Rube Goldberg Machine, and if you're not familiar with the band OKGO, they make great bops but to tie-in to your channel, they make AMAZING music videos, and one of them is a one-shot RGM spectacular spectacular. Enjoy. ruclips.net/video/qybUFnY7Y8w/видео.html

I'm going to repeat some of the recommendations to stay in the same entertained SSR movie escapism mood.
Magadheera (someone uploaded an English/Vietnamese sub on RUclips.) This was still in SSRs catering to local audience inside jokes and stuff (dance and cameo giving a nod to Ram Charan's dad + throwing the name Chiranjeevi out in a later scene) - this is my second favorite because of everything especially after seeing a scene by scene comparison of a Bengali remake.
(Another place you can find it is on a website I question the legality of. Starts with Ein ends with thusan)
On Hulu, Yamadonga and Maryada Rammana are found there. (You may find Magadheera listed but that's a whole different Ram Charan movie which seems to give nostalgia vibes to the real Magadheera one)
Here's an extra non SSR thing I adore on Netflix... Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. It's action comedy family drama. The fight scenes remind me of Stephen Chow/Kung Fu Hustle. (You'll eventually start figuring out who the actors are if you keep going down the rabbit hole.) 😁 TMI to mention here.

SARDAR UDHAM (2021) is the best bollywood movie ever made. IMDB 8.4. Mark my words you will not forget this movie. It will break your stereotype regarding indian movies that they are only song and dance and fun. It will impact your top 10 movie list of all times.

Definitely a good movie but not something to have fun and enjoy. This is more on the Schindler's List level. Still worth the watch although the first part dragged on. The last part though was well done.

Maryada ramanna should be your next rajamouli film, it's free on yt (4k with subtitles) and is actually inspired by a Buster Keaton film
