Hello there, my name is Camelle Hinds and I very much appreciate your comments and positive assessments of one of our (The Line’s) relatively vast repertoire. As one of two original founder members; I would be more than pleased to introduce you to anything you would like to know, hear, see or experience of Central Line. In essence, I have much to add to your research… We are soon to be touring USA granted I have grace on my side 🙏🏽🎨💓🦋🍂😊
This song was played in the mixes at the stations of WBLS and WTKU (New York) plus WBMX (Chicago). LL Cool J totally sampled the entire song of his hit song “Jiggle It Baby.”
Post disco sound. I think they coined it 'boogie'. Sort of in the same vain as D Train. This was of course sampled extensively by Marley Marl on LL Cool J's 'Jingling Baby'. Kudos to you for being the only person on YT to have reacted to this absolute 💎
Thanks! There was definitely a lot of people using "boogie" to describe their sound, which I guess is as good as anything. I'm surprised I'm the only one to react to this! I started the channel to react to old hip hop and rap, but it's changed over time as people have recommended newer stuff. I still do at least one old school track a week, though.
@@papasquat08 Old school rap/hip hop is where my heart is at. I've been listening since 1983. It has what has led me to all this other great music that helped influence its emergence. I'll be sure to check out your other videos when I get a chance.
