Korean age: In Korea, when you're born you're considered 1 year old. You can calculate your Korean age easily. At the start of the year, you add two years, you're 20 you add 2 years (22). When you're birthday passes, 20 to 21, you'll have one year of difference between your Korean age and your global age. Hope it made sense:)

In Korea you are twice your age than you were in the US or in any other country, so if you were 20 in the US you'd be 22 in Korea or if you were 30 in Korea you'd be 28 in the US. If that makes sense

In Korea, you are born as 1 year old..we count the days after the baby is born right..they count the baby from the womb so the baby is 1 year old from the moment it's born..and they add one year in new year like in January 1st you gain one year, not your birthday.
So if you are born in November or December you are already one and in January you gain one more year so that's 2 years added..if you are 24 by global age then you are 26 by Korean age

13:28 Korean age you count the years you been alive in, like imagine it as year calendars.
If you were born in 2000 that is your year 1, next year on january 1st you get a new calendar so then you are 2. Everybody turns 1 more year at a new year, January 1st, not on the birth day.
So Korean age is always 1 year more than global age but also since you turn 1 year older at january 1st and not at the day you were born your age is 2 years more than global age until your birthday every year since in global age system you turn 1 year older on your birthday.
ex. Someone born December 1st 2000 would now be 23 in Korean age but only 21 in global age and turn 22 years old Dec 1st.

Btw in Korea you say your family name first and here some of them instead said it the way you do in the US and that's why it took JK a bit of thinking before saying his name because it feels backwards saying the family name last. Normally JK would say 'Jeon Jungkook' but he said 'Jungkook Jeon'.
