Fun fact. All the cars that came new with 20in wheels had the small mudflaps, the 19in cars did not. I'm going to order wheels for mine and add a little offset and width to get that look. Thanks Brother.

Great video! Thinking of getting 30 mm spacers for my x150 to fit a set of XF wheels. However, I wonder if the increased stress on the components will damage bearings etc🤔
Perhaps you didn't need to add spaces to the front! so consequently that might have made the rear look even wider. just a thought. By the way, great video, also you have fitted spacer "adapters" not spacers.....a spacer fits between the wheel and hub but of cause you will need longer studs.....
Jaguar looks even better now. I think you're pretty much done here - with no need to go any wider on the front. Front looks good and something even wider on the front could possibly affect the stock handling balance.
Thanks bud. Subtle mod overall but I’m happy with it. My upgrades so far have basically just been to make the car look and sound like it already should 😂 and I’ve just ordered a pair of aluminium paddle shifter extensions in the same vein.
Looks good! I put 15 rear, 25 front and no rubbing.
Do you have a pic of your car? What size rims do you have on the XK. I'm just trying to make sure I buy the correct ones. Thanks.

did you need to trim any studs or was it a straight fitment with 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear?
I don't recall their being any alterations, but it was a while ago so I can't say for sure I'm afraid
What about decreased space between the wheel and wheel arch?
(Because when the wheel protrudes out, it's less aligned with the deepest part of the arch and more aligned with the less deep outer part of the arch).
Never found it an issue myself, but I've heard other owners mention it. Seems to depend more on the kind of roads you'll be on

So hi again, lol. I have a 2015 XKR and know the rear axle is a bit wider, I know this as I think those wheels are the best looking ones they made and wanted to put them on mine. The fronts will fit but not the rears. Being that's the case, I like how yours look and wonder if those same mm spacers would work on mine for that same look? Also wished you'd tell me the company as I want trusted ones, doing north of 170mph I want to make sure they can be trusted. Beautiful car and thanks again for your vids!!
Have you ever thought of lowering it? I really didn't want to mess with already a good thing, but damn, lowering it with the spacers would look sick. I've been down these roads before on other vehicles and while they did look better, they rode like crap and usually rubbed...
I wouldn't necessarily recommend lowering it, but it depends on if you're willing to sacrifice the comfort really. The brand I used wouldn't be something I'd use to do anywhere near 170 mph in. If that's what you're looking for then I'd probably go H&R all the way, especially if you were going to do both spacers and suspension together.
@@HSGAutomotive you wouldn't use the spacers you got to do 170 or the lowered suspension? Yeh, I'm all about the comfort, have lowered other vehicles and didn't like the ride...
@@Beemernow The spacers. They’re good enough quality for general driving, but I wouldn’t trust them at 150+ mph stresses

I've always been led to belive that spacers mess up scrub and radius angles etc and put strange loadings on hubs and studs.
Haven't a clue how true all that is and on what cars suspension types but know my 928 GT hated them.
Scrub is mostly an issue if the spacers are too big, which isn’t a problem with mine. Adding flex stress is true, but as long as the spacers are well made, the cars’ existing architecture is made to exceed what you actually need in most cases so it should be fine. We’ll see in the long run if it has any negative effects, but quite a number of owners in the XK community have it with few if any reports of issues that I’ve seen so far. 👍
