A couple of things I need to highlight: The New Blackjacks are indeed Barry Windham and Bradshaw, not Kendall. The order of the CC '97 Round Robin should be Misawa vs. Kobashi, then Kawada vs. Misawa, and finally Kawada vs. Kobashi. And unfortunately, the 06/09/95 match, oddly unlike the others, had to be edited very severely for this upload. Still, thanks for all the love for this series -- hopefully this supercut version's a nice little long player. Enjoy. :)
You should be damn proud of this. Easily the best project for Puro I have seen on RUclips. On par with BretFMW's documentary series. Would absolutely love a similar series for the Three Musketeers or at least Mutoh vs Chono (as this was also basically a complete history more or less of the Four (Five) Pillars of Heaven)
It took me a while to get around to watching this but two weeks later, let me say, you should still be so proud of this Kim. I hope this prods Montecillo to finish his King's Road video series too LOL
This was an absolutely fantastic retrospect . Lot's of info I didn't know about regarding these two legends. Hoping we would see a similar retrospect on Kenta Kobashi's career, including he was originally given a losing streak in order to be booked as an underdog you want to cheer for.
Correction to part one regarding Jumbo Tsuruta and the University of Oregon. It was actually the University of Portland, in Portland, OR. But other than that, this is a great series. A must watch for historians and up and coming wrestlers alike.
Thank you for this. Just like Joseph’s Walking the Kings Road I have shared this with all my boys. So they can understand my love for 90’s All Japan Pro Wrestling.
I watched each part separately and was only really familiar with misawa so this was a really awesome series for me to watch, really informative and your passion really shines. Thanks for making it Kim!!!
Absolutely amazing video thank you. That sell from the Misawa elbow by Hansen at 50.04 was perfection. He literally couldn’t have sold that better. Legit looked like a real knockout
After finally being able to finish this video in 3 separate days due to busy work schedule, I just wanted to share my appreciation for it. As someone who is a massive wrestling fan and also love writing about Puroresu, this video might very well be the best project I've seen about wrestling in YT. The writing, research, editing, and the whole process, you can feel the dedication of it all. While I was already aware of the rivalry between Misawa and Kawada, being able to see it all unfold historically this way is such a treat and a great way to look back on the legacies of these two legendary fighters. Thank you so much Kim Justice for this wonderful video!
For those watching the first time and not familar with Japanese wrestling, you are about to watch a more honorable Bret vs Shawn kind of rivalry told in a captivating way that only Kim can do.
i do love this four-part series as i'm now a fan of old-school ajpw and a special thanks to eddie kingston for keeping the spirit of the four pillars alive and i hope he wins the continental classic this coming saturday.
Thank you so much from Kim for these wrestling vids, they've helped me immensely with making the wrestler profiles for people on the Smackdown Hotel website, I'm trying to craft out a complete 90s AJPW roster soon! Wish me luck! - With love from the USA
One of the greatest documentaries I have ever watched about 2 of, if not THE, greatest wrestlers of all time. I personally always viewed Misawa's memorial show to also be Kawada's unofficial retirement show, especially with it being the last time the Holy Demon Army would team up.
FOUR HOURS of the Kings Road! You have outdone yourself, BRAVO!!! Occasional Fisticuffs in the back? Did Giant Baba fear for his life??? 😂😂😂😂😂I love Baba.
Love your videos friend! Would you perhaps consider making a video on Chris Benoit's time in NJPW compared to WWF? Obviously, theres a LOT of controversy covering Chris, but his time in NJPW could use your level of detail
Man I LOVE this. Finally learning about their rigid trunk colors is so rad lol. Per chance do you know why Kobashi went with all the orange to the eventual "burning" stuff? Aaaaaand Akiyama?
Can you make a video about Jun Akiyama. How underrated he is to the rest of the four pillars, how his career started, what is his best match and why isn't he recognized as the fifth pillar
When I discovered the Japanese-Wrestling in the 90ties...(used to the entertainment-US-style)...I couldnt believe how stiff they go over in Japan. My heroes there are clearly Misawa, Kobashi and Kawada. And since then I rarely watchted WWE ever again (exept there the stiff ones were fighting like Guerrero, Benoit etc)

Also, the Final Keiji Mutoh show at the Tokyo Dome last year, was technically a NOAH show as well, just thought I'd mention that here too.
This is great work.
If you think I will be watching this entire 4 hour video, made up of videos I have already watched, today, then you are absolutely correct.

id really like to see you do a history of Pro Wrestling ZERO1!!!!!
This was an absolutely fantastic retrospect . Lot's of info I didn't know about regarding these two legends.
Hoping we would see a similar retrospect on Kenta Kobashi's career, including he was originally given a losing streak in order to be booked as an underdog you want to cheer for.
I agree that Kenta Kobashi deserves a similiar retrospect, especially his rivalry with Misawa!
Kim Justice you are the GOAT of wrestling content creation

It's my sleepover and I get to choose the movie
I'll get the popcorn 🍿
Thank you for this. Just like Joseph’s Walking the Kings Road I have shared this with all my boys. So they can understand my love for 90’s All Japan Pro Wrestling.
nothing but masterpieces. youre making amazing stuff kim
51:38 An ultra-rare sighting of Toshiaki Kawada smiling...
An epic documentary. Thank you for your hard work!
Really great tribute. Ending brought me to tears.
Welp, I'm stuck in my office for the next 5 hours. Looks at RUclips. Oh, yes, I will watch this. Thank you.
I watched each part separately and was only really familiar with misawa so this was a really awesome series for me to watch, really informative and your passion really shines. Thanks for making it Kim!!!
Great wrestling youtubers are very hard to come by. Looking forward to more.
You know, I've always enjoyed watching 90's AJPW matches, but I'm very appreciative of this video for piecing the story together for me. Thanks!
Gonna fall asleep to this for months! Tyty!
This is the first Videos of Kim's I have ever watched. I have been missing out.
You have instilled a love of Japanese wrestling in me that I don’t think I’ll ever lose. Thank you.
Sweet, saves me just rewatching them all over and over...I mean, more 😂
As always, amazing work, I'm showing this to any Puro curious friends.
The goat of RUclips 🐐🔥
Absolutely amazing video thank you. That sell from the Misawa elbow by Hansen at 50.04 was perfection. He literally couldn’t have sold that better. Legit looked like a real knockout
Amazing super cut! Thank you so much for the time and effort! ❤
This is my favorite video on the internet now. Thank you.
Thanks for all your hard work Kim, your videos are awesome, im learning all the history of Puro!!
Oh hell yeah.

Thank you so much Kim Justice for this wonderful video!
Thank you for this in general. I had little knowledge of these years of Japanese wrestling
What more needs to be said. Kim Justice has put together a masterpiece
For those watching the first time and not familar with Japanese wrestling, you are about to watch a more honorable Bret vs Shawn kind of rivalry told in a captivating way that only Kim can do.
That’s the best way to describe this rivalry holy shit
Thanks
i do love this four-part series as i'm now a fan of old-school ajpw and a special thanks to eddie kingston for keeping the spirit of the four pillars alive and i hope he wins the continental classic this coming saturday.
You do fantastic work.
Yesssss, I was waiting for this!
Thank you so much from Kim for these wrestling vids, they've helped me immensely with making the wrestler profiles for people on the Smackdown Hotel website, I'm trying to craft out a complete 90s AJPW roster soon! Wish me luck!

This was an excellent documentary, and you really do a fantastic job conveying all of the emotions in the subject
This is the greatest wrestling documentary I've ever seen!! Thank you so much!!! Could you do one on the raise of Manami Toyota or more Joshi next?
Outstanding work. I had watched a bunch of AJPW from a top 20 matches and loved all of it but now I’m actually getting educated.
Oh, and Undertaker’s dye job has grown out awfully in his brief photo appearance and mention re: orbital bones 😆
This is amazing. Thank you for all the work that went into this.
Nice documentary ❤

Occasional Fisticuffs in the back? Did Giant Baba fear for his life???
😂😂😂😂😂I love Baba.
As a old school 90s tape trader i love your stuff
Specially the Michinoku pro stuff
Could you do some stuff about W.A.R
"One of the biggest reactions the Nippon Budokan has ever seen". Obviously, you've never heard of Cheap Trick.
😂😂😂
I don't think they played it at Budokan, but Do You Wanna Go To Heaven Tonight by Cheap Trick is one of the best songs ever made in my humble opinion
Brilliant, great video Kim ❤
Your videos are excellent !
Fantastic doc, watched it in one “sitting”. Out of curiosity, where did Kawada’s Powerbomb being called the “Soul Powerbomb” come from?
Kim giving presents for the holidays.
Love your videos friend! Would you perhaps consider making a video on Chris Benoit's time in NJPW compared to WWF? Obviously, theres a LOT of controversy covering Chris, but his time in NJPW could use your level of detail
Great video!
Im going to have to watch the whole thing again for the 5th time now that it's all one piece.
Man I LOVE this. Finally learning about their rigid trunk colors is so rad lol. Per chance do you know why Kobashi went with all the orange to the eventual "burning" stuff? Aaaaaand Akiyama?
Can you cover Japanese deathmatch wrestling in the 90s (fmw, wing, iwa)
Nice
Fantástico Material
Bro litreally made a 4hr video. Im not sure i should be thankfull or check up on you. All jokes. Thank you
Can you make a video about Jun Akiyama. How underrated he is to the rest of the four pillars, how his career started, what is his best match and why isn't he recognized as the fifth pillar
Kim any chance you could do a TEW2020 or ProWrestlingSim AJPW save. That would be amazing.
The best wrestlers of all time, Misawa is god, and Kawada is the devil!
1:47:17 I do hope, and pray that you cover the kobashi and Kawada battle soon
Late 2000's New Japan please. 🙏🏼
Clap clap clap
Such great shit pal
Kowada’s selling is insane
42:47 is that a botched piledriver or an actual move? That could've been horrible potentially
Great video. If anyone has a list of matches and dates I'd appreciate it.
True Cinema
Magisterial
Kim, is there a list of the matches? I’d like to watch the matches in order
Do one on njpw star please
Hey your on dead lock podcast. U rule. There are trying.
