Yes, it was, lots of wisdom, lots of love. Obviously his mother and GoGo have tremendous influence on who he is. I'd like to hear more about his relationship with his bio father, or lack of, and its impact on his development, self-concept, life philosophy.
Yeah, it is a great read. I not sure who I would most like to meet, him, his mom, or his grandmother.

Trevor's humor and his perspective helped many of us to remember that laughter can be the best medicine! We endured a presidency with an orange buffoon, a pandemic, an insurrection, and so much more during his time at The Daily Show... he will be greatly missed! Love to his crew too... It's really really depressing that this country is so f'd up that there isn't any sort of fact checking or even a damn background check done on people who run for an official office that actually has the ability to create laws here and be voted into that seat still without any sort of background investigation!!! When I was 19 I applied for to be a sales floor associate at TARGET and after my interview it took them TWO weeks to hire me because they were waiting for my background check to come back!!! 🙄🙄😭😭😂😂😂🤯🤯😵😵

@@m.maclellan7147 Yeah I get that but I mean, I'm a chemist now, I hold an actual PhD in chemistry I have access to really dangerous chemicals and I had to go through 7 years of school and take a test and after THE FBI HOMELAND SECURITY did a truly insanely extensive background investigation, not just into me but my parents and siblings aunt's, uncles and their children and some of my cousins were married so they were investigated as well, and I get that it's because I have access to materials that in the wrong hands can kill 100's of Thousands of people in a few minutes but the people in the Senate and Congress are able to make the call on whether or not we go to war, I'm not sure but they could probably get access to the same materials I can, yet there's someone in the Capitol Building right now and we aren't even sure what his real name is? That's just mind blowing! Shouldn't there at the very least be a requirement that DHS do their background investigations on the people who are trying to get a job in the offices where a LOT of the previous "employees" have already shown that politicians can't really be trusted and are known for being self-serving rather than people serving? I don't know I'm just freaking out because this just makes me feel like we're fixing to have another round of 2016-2020 and I don't think I may have to move to Antarctica before I can do that again lol

I think the system started out on some good principals, but human nature being what it is, it's been slowly undermined, poisoned, twisted & turned into a shell. Having it be self-regulating seems to be the worst fault. What slick politician would put themselves out of a job ? I have zero faith in most politicians! Even if they START in politics as hard-working, honest people, they become something less. Some shill for a mega-corporation.
Mega-Corporations are the other "Horn" on the beast that is rending our nation apart.
Wish I had better answers, but I don't.
I guess I should get more involved on my local level. I guess we ALL should. ( For example, my local town sent a legal "cease & desist" to someone who baked cookies with the town crest on them to bring to a meeting at the town hall. They were not sold. Cookies - My town paid a lawyer some huge fee because someone brought cookies to a meeting ? If it wasn't for cellphones having cameras, know one would know. Now it's a "tempest in a teapot" ! Your tax dollars are at work. Sigh. A simple word to the bakers like, "Hey, these are beautiful, but you can't sell them, or the lawyers will freak!" Would work ! Who hires a lawyer for that ?! Sigh.

I love both Trevor and Steven! It seems to me they have great chemistry and rapport, and they're both excellent night show hosts. I'm happy that Trevor is following his heart. He knows where he wants to be and what he wants to be doing. Many blessings to both Trevor and Steven!

When Trevor 1st came to the Daily Show I said this is most definitely a stepping stone for him and not a career. Dude is extremely smart and talented and young. He may end up going back later but this man has to grow spread his wings.

I like the idea of friends getting together to expand their horizons and grow by pushing their own boundaries. Also, white water rafting is an incredible rush! I highly recommend trying it (with an experienced guide).

Trevor was one of my favorite hosts, I watched him alongside Stephen, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel. I miss him so much, and it feels paradox to see him sitting here with Stephen but I'm so glad to see his face again
Trevor Noah never ceases to amaze me with his comedic timing and ability to turn even the most mundane moments into something hilarious. This video had me in stitches as he recounted the random things that went through his mind during a near-death experience. Keep up the great work!

My favorite audiobook ever is his "Born a Crime." It is enlightening, hilarious, and inspiring. His narration is truly the icing on the cake.

Oh - wow, wow, wow. So, by comparison (and this was back in the ninety's), I got off a bus after agreeing to a friend's suggestion we go white waters rafting after a hard night's partying. I got handed a cold wetsuit and watched as bedraggled people handed off their equipment for the River Rats Rafting Crew. We wandered down to a 4.5 grade river (I later discovered rivers have 'grades') that they had not only set up a camera to catch the moment you went over the falls but expected it. Our guide, thankfully told us to wrap our hands around the rope inside the boat and hang on for dear life and we made it through without losing anyone as we want over the precipitous falls. I have never become more sober so quickly in my entire life.
That's why those kinds of trips are fun! 🙌🏾 Whenever I go, I always see a group of drunk or drinking folks and I kno... a wyld ride is ahead... for EVERYONE lol #rapids ♒️
