I miss him. Not only is Trevor funny but he is also so charming. What a powerful combination.
I can listen to him all day. Stephen should invite him more often
As a South African, I started watching TDS because of Trevor. Then the RUclips Algorithm introduced me to The Late Show. Late night shows is how I keep up to date with US politics.
He’s also insanely intelligent! I listened to his book Born a Crime on Audible. Highly recommend as he is the reader.
He killed the daily show
Yip. That is exactly how I came to develop some understanding of American politics. Before then, I had no idea what a Democrat or a Republican is. All I knew was that their voting process was very complicated and dragged on forever😂 @@WayneKitching
Trevor Noah is one of those magical people - brilliant, informed, witty, and able to tease and tell jokes in a way that isn’t mean-spirited. Such a good human ❤
I love how worldly, smart, and compassionate he is.
Those are the words I think of with him.
He's definitely an example to aspire to.
A best case scenario of how to be a thriving human in the world as it is.
Well said....completely agree!!
Yeah i miss him too he was good especially as an interviewer
I LOVE that Usher is now a verb..."He started to Usher."🤣❤
haha well usher was always a verb
That's 100% TRUE!
After seeing the two videos of this interview here I can confidently say I needed this to last so much longer. He is always so insightful, charming and such a great conversationalist.
I really hope they release the uncut interview.
I was going to say the same thing. It ended and I needed more.
And he's very cute.
He is on the Jay Shetty Podcast for like an hour. AMAZING
INDEED!👏
I learned so much from this man. He’s able to use humor and make you think at the same time. He opened my eyes to handling racism & apartheid with Grace. His new special on Netflix, speaking about how Germany handles teaching Hitler-absolutely moved me. I wish America could come together. Miss him so much on Daily Show.
yeah, me too
I miss him as well. I hope he gets another show. TY 👍
You just made me weepy 🥹
And I love it that he did in Detroit!
💙
The Daily Show has never been the same. Definitely full of wit and wisdom.
We said the same about John... it'll come around.
@@dizmix Jon*
Yeah the daily show wasn’t the same. It became crap when he took over
lol, never been the same because they don’t have a host. Not sure what they’re doing
If they do not hurry up and get a host... they will fade away. Trevor made it better (I was pleasantly surprised by that), and will be hard to replace, but the Daily Show better get it together.
Like many of you, I miss watching Trevor regularly on The Daily Show. Not many people in this world intellectual, funny, and charming all at the same time. I’ve got a lot of time for people like him.
You should listen to his podcast.Thats where I get my Trevor fix😅
I follow his podcast as well. A perfect platform for him to showcase his conversational prowess.
Trevor is so intelligent ad so naturally funny, such a talented human being and has so much compassion and empathy for everyone-but all I can think of when I look at him is how damn handsome he is!!!
Yes!!!😁😁😆😆😆💋💖💋💖🌵🌵👵🐺🖖
Those dimples!!❤
it's true.. he's funny, intelligent, kind, comes off as humble in many ways and so handsome. there are very few men like him in this world.
Love and miss you Trevor.
I’m here darling 😊😂
Isn't he on CBS or CNN or something? One day a week methinks.
Love Trevor Noah and what they said about music was spot on. I'm 65 and 4 years ago I was invited to sing with a blues band. We are all a similar age and we play pubs and parties for little or nothing because we love the music and we feel alive when we're performing. Nothing quite like it.
❤
The best kind of band to sing with. The Blues will always last the test of time!
@@brownkemosabe 100% It's all about feeling the music and living the lyrics
Music is a special kind of magic, nothing else moves you the same way.
I have always wished I could sing or have any musical talent. Always felt music or singing is a universal language that is very powerful.
Trevor Noah is absolutely the best! He is so funny, smart and kind!
So miss Trevor on the Daily Show. His ability to tell stories, his creative humor and down to earth personality, and pleasant voice…Ahhh. Thank you for this interview.
BTW, I feel the same about John Baptiste.
As much as I miss him, I'm so glad he gets to travel as much as he wants now. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who would settle, like really put roots down, in one place. He's meant to learn everything there is in the world so that he can teach it to all of us who can't be explorers.
Trevor is a gift to the Planet! So grateful for his presence.
Miss him so much, his enthusiasm is so infectious ❤
Your stand up comedy is genius Trevor.
Trevor lights up any stage he so naturally loves! So glad Africa is shining bright through his self 🤗
Grazing in the Grass" is an instrumental composed by Philemon Hou and first recorded by the South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela was the intro song
Thanks for that music 🎶 info. 😊
Can listen to them talk about random shit all day everyday
I can listen to Trevor forever. He manages to make even the simplest of stories seem fun and interesting. He’s such a warm, engaging, and intelligent guy. Whenever someone asks me what celebrity I’d like to have dinner with, he’s on the top of the list loll
Music is magic❤. As a musician and music teacher, I love hearing it described the way Trevor did.
Trevor we miss you. Take care sir. All the best for the future where we hope to see you more and more.
Absolutely love that man. A genuine role model.
I read Trevor's autobiography. A most interesting upbringing. I admire him a lot.
Trevor is such a cutie and so smart and funny.
It's not cute IMHO. It is always be aware of the feelings of others and contribute to social well being where ever you are.
" But I have nowhere to go, Usher." FEELS like a meme. Dunno what for, though.
I never tire listening to Trevor Noah and his perspective. Always gets me to laugh and think! Also got to see his stand-up in Boston last year. Fantastic show! I know I'm echoing the comments by saying I still miss him on the Daily Show. I still watch it and they've got a great cast, but they've got big shoes to fill over there!
I miss Trevor Noah. Cool he brought up the music bit as I play 11 musical instruments and one of Stephen's favs made my day!
Used to think he wasn't very funny when he took over the Daily show but OMG...since then, his delivery, timing-everything has become razor sharp!
He grew into the host role and was mesmerizing. He is so full of talent. I hope his departure is wise as he seems to be so.
Loved him from his very first day on the job, the only thing more impressive to me than his talent is his humility
"Since then"? 😒😑🥱
He was always razor sharp. The issue is that TDS was scripted and toned down for American audiences. When you watch the between the scenes of TDS you see his razor sharp personal wit and his intelligence on full display.
@GinaMazzola I've often found those behind the scenes much funnier and more fluent from him than the "on air" sections. It takes sometimes decades to become good at that stuff but his natural persona and charisma really shine through when he's just being himself and not trying too hard
Intelligence + Eloquence + Charm + Grace = Trevor Noah
Absolutely!! Love him! My homeboy 🇿🇦❤️
Respect and love to you Trevor ❤
Miss you Trevor
Miss you Trevor, 😢.
Know you are loved and missed.
Non euclidian ❤
It's perfect, Stephen just plucked it out of the ether. 💜
Everyone slept on it!
Best comment he made ❤
One of the most charming men in show biz today..... 🥰
I love Trevor Noah. I miss him as host of the Daily Show almost as much as I miss Jon Stewart.
I've loved this guy from his very first day on the Daily Show job. Scariest thing to me about Trevor Noah is I don't think he's even near his peak as a comic, that'll probably come in about 5-10 years judging by most comedians' timelines. Sometimes he has these moments where it seems like he's still working just a tiny bit too hard and the joke doesn't quite click the way it does for a comedian at the peak of their powers.... but his talent and wonderfully kind and humble personality are so off the charts he doesn't even need to be at his best to be brilliant and funny, so I love every minute of being on this journey with him.
I know exactly what Trevor means with the Usher meeting. I dated someone who was a jip hip dancer. Every time she went on the dance floor and looked at me I was like, you know you like me for my personality not my dance moves. Why you playing? 😂
I miss seeing Trevor all the time. Love his observations
I so miss Trever Noah on the daily show. He, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert helped me get through the pandemic.
That moment when Usher becomes a verb.
As well as Star-struck.
Love Trevor. Haven’t watched his show even once since he left.
Tears of laughter spontaneously leapt from my eyes while watching this interview. Trevor is such a quick witted funny man.
Trevor is something special, funny, talented and so warm and welcoming. Nice to know he has an achilles heel, dancing with Usher!
I love that he used "Usher" as a verb
I love hearing Trevor Noah speak about anything.
Love how Trevor tells stories! Love it!
@3:25 Stephen quotes Shakira:"...hips don't lie." 😂
As someone who has worked with ushers in a theater setting saying Usher starts ushering just sent me into a fit of giggles I didn’t know I needed. 😉😂🤣
When I saw Sarah Brightman, it was impossible to stop tears running down my face! Every time she started, the tears would flow. She stopped, tears stopped!
I remember watching him about 20years ago when he would do the open mic sessions at a little bar called Cool Runnings. I miss how he was able to make all South Africans laugh together. We are so proud of our boy!
I'm so grateful to see Stephen and Trevor together who made it easier for me to get through those hard times in 2020. Bless them both!
Wow, that was a real treat seeing Trevor Noah 🎉
So freaking proud of Trevor. Come so far
My live has been 5% worse and newsless since he left. Please come back Trevor!!!!!!!!
Trevor is just so lovable! Funny as can be! Lovely personality, super smart and introspective and handsome!❤
Miss you brother! This was such a wonderful treat of two high intelligence likeminded beautiful people giving us a great show!!! Gratitude!
Way too smart and way too funny. I just dont understand why many Americans didn't like him hosting.
Racism?
I loved him. But then I'm an Aussie 😜
Americans like in your face comedy but they don't like comedy that requires using the mind to follow and get a Trevor Noah joke. Meanwhile state politicians are banning books and turning public schools charter schools. Go figure
It’s because he speaks the truth.
The big taboo: a country with general lack of education
I can guarantee I would be starstruck or starstriked if I made either of your acquaintances. 💫
LOVE YOU TREVOR, YOU'RE HILARIOUS AND BRILLIANT 😅
I don't listen to mainstream music. I have no idea what's going on, and haven't watched the Emmy's for years. I love Trevor, and have missed him. I will watch the Emmy's just to see him. ❤️✌️❤️🌼
Tooooo short 😭😭😭 miss you Trevor!!!
'Music can bring us together and help us forget our differences. It is also very healing. We need to honor music therapists more.
I feel like Trevor was one of the only people in the room that made any kind of sense in 2020, and I'll always be grateful to him for that.
Trevor was brilliant. Appreciate his doing the Daily Show for as long as he did. I hope he has great success in future..
Gosh I love this man! We need more people like Trevor Noah!
Trevor is just the best. As an 'international person' myself, I can so relate to his perspectives. One observation i would love to feed to him: "Yes, America is indeed super proud with its flag everywhere you look, but imagine the tables turned... you are an American visiting say Germany, and the German flag is EVERYWHERE you look. And they truly believe 'our country is the greatest'. Would you feel a bit intimidated?" That's how foreigners feel when they visit America, it can be very overwhelming?" OK, But what about France? Sure, maybe. But the USA definitely takes the cake on zealous patriotism?
I wish Trevor would come back on TV so we could see him more. I really miss his jokes and his laughter and he's such a funny talented man.
I miss Trevor💕 He pulled me up during the worst of the pandemic.
Stephen too! 💕
I could have listened to him for another 2 hours. Great interview.
What a combination! Love love love Trevor and Stephen ❤️
Trevor feels more mellow now....like the things he talks about feels substanceless/empty compared to his thought provoking remarks and comedy from before
So happy to see Trevor getting the recognition he deserves. You are missed, Trevor!
More Trevor. More Trevor!
Oh: there Was more: a whole other segment. Well, that was great! He's so engaging. Love his mirth. Guess I got my fill; great interview; two great men. (Hilarious stuff about the National Anthem.)
He is one of exceptional human beings I love, look up, respect and can learn eye-opening moments. He is never a hypocrite and always gives assignment that makes me think twice. His insight, wise, compassion, and humor just are magnetic, and you can't refuse them.
It is indeed! Music is a spiritual experience
Love u Trevon
I always get such a warm fuzzy feeling watching and listening to Trevor speak. 🥰🤩
I don’t like audio books.
But Trevor’s book, Born a Crime, is absolutely fantastic. Literally the best thing I’ve come across.
I opened his book at a book store and read about the bone marrow. ‘Dinner bones’, and I was near tears.
His audio book is fantastic. Fr. Funny, you’ll be laughing out loud. And yet you’ll be thinking and reflecting.
Trevor is a gem. One day, I hope to see him in person.
"All art constantly aspires to the condition of music.” - Walter Pater
Wow. I haven’t watched an awards show in ages, but I almost feel like watching the Grammys now.
Trevor! We miss you on TDS! So talented & such a great personality. Wish he’d come back to guest host for old times sake. Much ♥️& all the best all!
Trevor I miss you so much!!!! Love to you!!
Oh Trevor, I even love how you say Usher ! Love to see you !
I can listen to Trevor telling stories all day 🤗🤗💕💕
TREVOR. NOAH! I would try to put the rest in words, but that's too hard. You get it. Love this guy.
I have no hope for humanity but Trevor and Stephen give me hope for tomorrow
Love Trevor! ❤
WOW! I miss him so much! I've already watched Noah's latest 3 times.
Can't ever not watch Trevor, any chance possible. Love the doo! Been a while since a real fro has been around.
Now I have to google Usher dancing
I love both of these guys.
Love him such an intelligent man and funny, handsome man ❤
John Williams ❤ music that moves hearts
Miss Trevor sooo much at The Daily Show! He’s an awesome comedian with so much wit & class & he doesn’t need to use any of the common ‘words’ (‘f…, for ex.) some comedians use bc they think brings more ‘funny’ to their jokes or statements.
Good seeing TN again!
I love Trevor Noah, someday I wish to see him in-person
i love this man so darn much
Love you Trevor.
More Trevor Noah is needed!😊
Can't wait to see Trevor do the water dance with Tyla
