I was watching old videos of Gentaro when he was born and I think Kintaro now is worse than Gentaro at 4 and I think he will be worse he has bad tantrums when he doesn't get his way with Mom

Give me that finger Gentaro 😂😅 Gentaro presents himself as a baby in front of the ones who took care of him as a baby. It’s like he wants them to give him attention and hold him. He is so adorable 🥰❤ I often wonder if he will still suck his finger when he becomes a silverback. He is really growing slowly and I’m not in no rush to see him as a silverback because I’m enjoying seeing his baby face and baby behavior
I’ve only seen one other Silverback sucking his finger. His name is Kiondo. It wasn’t a good look to me because Kiondo has a very intense look😂It might work for Gentaro if he still has his sweet eyes and some of mamas features. But I try to see Momo sucking his finger and I just can’t. This is only my opinion😊
Gentaro sucks his thumb because as a baby he didn't get the love he needed from his mother and his human mother stop seeing him for a while it seems . So he compensate the lack of nurturing by thumb sucking . Wow !!! Those zookeepers talk alot .nonstop !! I really didn't want Gentaro to pick up that thumb sucking but that's his indirect way of needing comfort . At this age 12 I hope he would eventually grown out of it . Maybe when he gets a mate he would . It's hard to say because of his arrested development . His I telegence is saying he needs to get away from dad soon . So we just might see him thumbsucking for a while . 😮. I had a cousin that used to do that and my aunt put pepper on his thumb to stop him from doing it . He just did it when he was going to sleep . . It's something that you have to outgrow ...and some people never did ,, they just do it when you 34:07 r not looking .lol

It's too bad the city zoo couldn't put more money into a new outdoor yard for them like the gorillas have at the Taiwan zoo. Your gorilla family is a treasure for your pretty city but they need more open room. I realize of course it's very expensive. Love your dedication
I’ve followed the D’Jeeco troop at the Taipei Zoo daily for the past 2 1/2 years. The gorillas at that Zoo not only have a beautiful expansive outdoor area but are fed a variety of different foods ie. Guava branches, grasses, various types of vegetables, different types of asian fruits and snacks like pumpkin seeds/walnuts/yogurt. From what I’ve observed from my daily watching the gorillas at that Zoo are happy, healthy and are well fed by the caring Staff. ✌️❤️🦍

Gentaro finds confort with the zookeepers . He has been very used to them since he was born . Due to the fact he was raised by a human dad for many months . He probably is saying they are going to be a while so let me just sit here and be comfortable . Tumb sucking is a way of self conforting . I just love me some Gentaro .. Boy !!! They may not have the space as the gorillas at the Taiwan Zoo, but they sure eat a lot better than those gorillas.
