Because the film was originally in French. Diane Kruger speaks 3 languages, namely German (mother tongue), English and French. She had studied in France and speaks the language fluently.
Yikes! German, French, and English- all naturally as far as I can tell. And gorgeous!
Funny thing is: she has a slightly noticable french-ish accent when she speaks German. I noticed that in Inglorious Basterds too.

Why is her voice in the movie is dubbed?I'ts clearly not hers. I´ve seen this done in many german movies

@@oftersent1537 maybe she dubbed herself? I don't know in this case here, but it happens often, Christoph Waltz does that for the german versions, for example. But it doesn't quite sound like her voice, either.

German learner here, why is it that the question at 2:55 is "Sehnst du sich" and not "Sehnst du dich"? Is it a mistake?
