Their problem is not about Sengol in itself but because of the hindu elements such as "Nandi", "Laxhmi", etc which has been crafted on it. Hence, representing hindu identity. Infact, you guys should ask them this direct question... they are merely playing to the tune of the minorities. Besides, as a safety measure so as to ensure that the Sengol is not removed in the future, the govt. must take all necessary measure to include and/or protect the Sengol as part of Constitutional affirmation.
