I'm a Celtics fan, but I was a Ray Allen fan from college, Bucks, and especially the Sonics. He looked really good the other night. I haven't seen him play so loose since 2009 (just running off screens the last 3 seasons). It's like he doesn't have that leash and collar around him anymore and can do more than just run around and catch and shoot. he had that drive by KG and that nice play inside where he banked it off the backboard. It was like watching old school Ray Allen.

I agree. It's hard switching positions especially to a PG but you can't dismiss the fact that despite Ray's age, he's still better than most SGs in the game which is why he really should be starting. He's on Miami though so that's a different story. If he were on a team other than maybe Miami or Lakers who have 2 of the top guards on their team, he would've rightfully been a starter.

People fail to realize KG is old school when it comes to basketball, and is not into this buddy buddy business the entire league is turning to. Teams back in the day used to hate each others' guts, and something like this would be extremely looked down upon. There is a time when he has to let it go but its too soon for him, which in my opinion is perfectly understandable.
