That was my initial thought also, I even looked up different brands....Airbus uses led while Boeing uses a mix of incandescent and led. No one seems to advertise for balloons, but I only searched for ten min.
I always look forward to your videos sometimes looking back at a lot of them the colors of planet x objects and that universe code you found, deeply appreciate your work

Speaking of my old videos, I've come a long way with the production of them, but, there was some really good stuff way back there. I'm considering....maybe....having a 'throw back Thursday' upload. It's a shame not more people see these videos....or a lot of us Sky Watchers.
It looks to be a continuous rotating beacon by the light dimming consistently, so not a strobe. It looks low enough to be a balloon as most satellites don't have marker lights or appear to emit a constant reflective light rather than this rotating beam or reflective shield.
Hey Rich, would a balloon move that fast? I guess it would depending on the wind gusts up there? Unless you're talking about like the Goodyear blimp? I have no idea, hope that's not a stupid question....
@@ItsLindaMillerTime Balloons can get up into the jetstream where windspeed can exceed 300-400 mph. There are also extended dual equalizing pressure bladders that can rise, fall, and maintain altitude by having two balloons with a pressure transfer system, they can stay up for months and maintain a set elevation. It's not a dumb question at all, very few know about pressure equalizing balloons and where many have heard of the jetstream not many at all understand the incredible speed that they can produce. Commercial jets that take advantage of them can obtain a ground speed of over 800 mph while the perceived airspeed is 575 mph. The jetstream is also in layers and can travel in opposite directions depending on the elevation, giving the balloons the ability to change direction...say travel east to west at 80,000 ft and west to east at 75,000. They inflate or deflate the main balloon into the reserve and vise versa raising and lowering the altitude of the balloon.
It's like a flying lighthouse light, with the light coming in view and going out of view in a slow rhythmical way.
