They all look fantastic, Eelke! In the Cyms I have in pumice/semi-hydro I have been giving a steady feed of around 150ppm so that may be about what yours are getting, averaging out your numbers. The roots are pushing the plants out of their pots, though there is plenty of space for new growths for a couple years yet. 😂 I need to find some of those buckets. I do have a couple others I put into bark/soil mix, those are getting around 400ppm with this grow season. Interesting to follow your progress with these over the months. Thanks Eelke! 🙏😀❤️

Those buckets or wonderful for the bigger plants! I do use some that had birdfeed in them. But I also find them only. I needed a lot when I did my Phal repots. I will do updates and let’s hope for some pretty blooms! :D

Woah, you got a lot of Cymbies! 😮❤
I just rescued my Cym. Golden Elf a few days ago and I've potted it up just a few hours ago in Mostly pumice, with a little bit of lava rock at the bottom of the pot.
It has jo roots since it suffered from root rot, it'll be a big set back but at least and I hope, that it'll really do better in pumice. Do you have any thoughts on Cymbidiums (heat tolerant ones like Golden Elf) growing in Pumice and Lava rock? is it okay and do you think it will work? 🥺 Any advices are appreciated!
Thank you so much for this informative video! I really enjoyed it! 💚

That sounds like a perfect media for it! They lava rock also does bring some weight in to the pot. It is all inorganic so no rotting EVER on your media which is such a big plus if you ask me! Repots or easy! :D It should work fine. Also flushing the pots etc is also a lot easier.
I hope it will work as good for your plant as it does for mine, please let me know! And of course I will keep my eye out for a video update :D
Thank you so much for watching and happy growing!

@@TheOrchidSaGa This is good to hear, very reassuring and definitely lessened my stress! Thank you so much for the input/tips!
Do you have a tutorial about potting up cymbidiums in such set up? If no, I hope one day you can make one for us if the time and your heart allows~ it will be deeply appreciated! Thanks so much! 🥺💚
Also yes! I might upload it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I was supposed to upload it now but I wasn't able to export it due to my phone storage running out, so I prioritized my tolumnia rescue/experiment since it required less storage so I can delete some of the clips so I can free up space for the cymbidium repotting!
Thank you so so much for this! I really appreciate it! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! 🥺💚

I am glad I could help! The video you are asking about is linked on the end of this one. Also a care collab on cymbidiums. Please let me know if the links work?
Thank you for the support and I hope you will have a wonderful week too!

Putting cymbidims outside is to let them have that drop in temperature and let them spike. The drop in temperature I do have in my greenhouse naturally. So, no need to put them outside for me and less change on getting snails, bugs etc on them. That miniature is so great! I am looking forward to the reblooms! :D

@@TheOrchidSaGa I have no snail problems this year, I think it's because they are potted up in soil, snails can't get in the pot to eat roots 😁
