I closed my eyes and I just thought I was back in your class....... Then you yelling at me to pay attention. ahahaha. Thank you again for the link.. Big help.
Yeah you should BUT you can also select the ink line and convert it to geo under convert paint effects. Using a lattice or linear deformer you can now edit both selecting them in object mode
nift!! haha.. you'z funny. Thanks for the rad Tute! XD I was just thinking about toon shaders and how I was going to figure this out, so thank you for the knowledge.
thanks for the video dude! Been wanting to experiment more with toon shading for awhile now :D. Question though, I tried moving around a verticy after applying a toon outline and the outline would not move with it. Do you have to apply it after the model is finished?
I'm now learning Maya so I haven't had a chance to play around with the Toon Shader yet, but I had a question. Can you modify the outline to render as pixel lines? I'm trying to figure out an easier way to do pixel art - not necessarily sticking to "true" pixel art just getting the outline to be pixels. Thanks for your help and great tutorial, you make learning fun.
Hi iLoveturtles you can but you need to use the hardware renderer using this shader. Sorry for the delayed response. I have been super busy. www.kostas.se/
1:03 "You can see it's very Mwoaa!" AMAZING.
