You answered something I've been looking for. I have an analog console that i want to create scribble strip screens on but have no idea how. Its 32 channels. I want to use the tiny half inch or so OLEDs under each channel to either label in text or display a small icon or picture of each instrument or vocal track type. Do you think you can help guide me a bit? I also want to make the LED VU meters into animated screens
So with one Arduino you can send 8 different (or more) signals to 8 different Displays? Is the size of the sendet data limitied? For example could the arduino receive an GPS and Bluetooth signal, keep them seperated and send them to different displays?

Yes...what you write to each display is called and assigned to that specific display...you would just assign the desired data to the desired screen
