I find it disturbing that humans are rushing to take all meaning out of life
We're really giving up something fundamental in being human for the sake of convenience
They're doing this because Big Business wants to replace most of its workers with AI to pay less, and they invest a lot of money in it. So the answer is simple: money.
if no one is working, who's buying the products and how can they make more money?
@@TerminallyOnlineLeftist I agree with you. But when it comes to big incomes, most people, unfortunately, do not think about the moral or rational side of the issue. They do not care about the big picture, they are only interested in big money here and now. Plus, such a big paradigm shift in the relationship between employee and employer may well radically change the system of these relations, and some other system will replace classical capitalism (it is possible that changing the system of human relations is the main goal of AI development). And I am afraid to think what kind of system it will be...
@KetalisStorm the ai bubble bursting is going to be insane, i know that much
The AI "art" enthusiasts are people who want instant gratification without doing anything and only care about the end result, but at the same time AI "art" is for people who don't even LOOK at the art they engage with... it's pathetic
It was such fun when it was horrible nightmare memes on dallee. Looking forward to seeing more of your art
People saying AI image generation is going to replace real artists are overestimating AI. It's impossible to predict whether the AI will get incredibly better but it's tempting to just be lazy and say it's better now than it was 10 years ago therefore it's going to keep getting better. It's entirely possible that AI has exhausted all its learning tricks being trained by super computers and intentional input from engineers and it will actually just get worse from here as it interacts with people like me just using it for memes and not serious art.
Just like consumer grade 3D rendering did not just keep getting better and more realistic. Lord of the Rings was released in 2001 and has some of the best 3D scenes because it was designed by artists.
Coca-cola did their Christmas ad this last year with AI.
AI even ruined the fun of the AI Will Smith eating Spaghetti. Now it feels wrong. No reaspn why this should exist . Specifically knowing that people will use it for the wrong reasons, like they did woth Deepfakes.
jackson galaxy is this you
no but you may have seen my cats in the background of this video. i've posted them in the community section before.
Hello, you’re welcome for stopping by.
For me the point is NSFW content. I'm a consumer and AI is providing exactly what I'm looking for. 😂
that feels unethical for a lot of reasons, but moreso if you're using it to make it look like someone specific
@TerminallyOnlineLeftist I think it actually solves that problem. I don't even want it to look like anybody real, that's unnecessary. It can create content that's completely unique and novel. I definitely agree with the idea that it's unethical to use against somebody's consent. This is one of the best possible use cases that protects everybody while allowing for the creation of content that would otherwise not exist. There's only so much of one category and AI can produce niche content that would otherwise leave customers wanting.
