The fact that she plays the entire piece expressing her emotions is appreciable, which in-turn makes the piece sound even more glorious. Chopin would definitely be happy watching you play from heaven...❤️
I can't believe...11.000 views is a really low number for this performance... one of the best on RUclips for sure! This piece brings up so many emotions and musicaly brilliant moments that only Chopin can write, and still almost every pianist that we can see here are not capable of to play and take this masterpiece to the level it deserves. Congratulations, I love it!
@@rutakuzmickasI just love your technique, every note is crisp and defined, the tempo is perfect and you give it all the emotion it deserves. Thank you and greetings from Australia. 🙂
A great interpretation! Beautiful voicing and fluence through this entire masterpiece by Chopin. This is more difficult than playing in a fast tempo. I just loved it!
I really loved your performance. Only 1135 people have had the privilege of listening to this so far, I thought I was at RUclips premium haha. Keep it like that, you sound amazing! 💕
This is GORGEOUS. I hope that this performance reaches at least a million views. Such an underrated rendition. You're amazing, Ruta. Keep up the incredible playing!!
Don't deceive yourself. In that legendary video Zimmerman has CHEATED. He has played some parts many times and the video has been edited. The proof is that the chair (stool) is different at a part of the coda of the ballade. In contrast, other video recordings such as Michelangeli's, Gegerly's etc have been made at once, WITHOUT EDITING. And as far the sound recording only, there other interpretations better than his. For e.g., in J. M. Luisada's interpretation the polyphony and the emotional tense is more refined than Zimmernan's.
@Lucijan Relja In such cases the opposite happens generally - the audio is edited, not the video. If your hypothesis was right (i.e. refine the video setup), the producer would have notice the error with the different stool and he never let it be. The subject is that he presents to us abilities that he has not. If the playing was so perfect at once, there would not needed to edit the recording, like many others (Michelangeli's etc). Ι don't underestimate Zimmerman, his recording is one of the best, but that's the truth...
nossa como eu chorei com essa interpretação sua, também sou pianista e ja vi centenas de outras pessoas tocando mas essa sua com certeza esta no meu top 5 de melhores apresentações que já vi na vida
Brava, Ruta! Beautiful performance! I've been waiting for more of your recordings. Am happy to see you at it once again. Will listen to the other ballades when I find a chance.
While the whole interpretation is sensational, I think 4:49 - 5:10 is exceptionally well played and I think it is my favorite interpretation of that section. Very clear, beautiful singing, fine rubato, not exaggerated, great dynamic control and brilliant touch. Very good job and thanks for sharing of course!
Apart from the pristine, historic coda performance, please watch from 2:20 on. This is how a TRUE Chopin pianist (not some no-right brain human metronome) plays a crescendo as well as accelerando. Amazing rendition all around. Incredible rubatos (see 2:34 for example), masterful pedaling (see 6:08). This is a sad planet, if this video gets 9.000 views. This should have gotten 50 millions views. It tops sooo many overrated renditions (like Horowitz or Gilels or Valentina - I will always play the fastest - Lisitsa.).
Ahhh... I have listened this piece a lot but this gave me different kinda feeling. I can really say that this performance takes place in my favorites🥲 and this views plus subscribers are too low :') I am following you from now I wish I could discover you earlier 🥲❤

thank you what a compliment!!
Well because it is.
@@goktugblack it's not lol. She's amazing but Zimmerman's interpretation is on another lvl.

This performance and Zimmerman’s capture the essence of Chopin and all the pathos and bliss of this piece. Bravo!
I don't think anyone can ever beat Zimmerman's performance. But you're very close! Well done!
