I'd actually watched @kroysteamvr play this over on Twitch a week or two back and felt this really wasn't for me. But, I got sent a key to try it and review it and... eh, why not? It actually turns out that I enjoyed it more than I expected. It has issues, for sure, i feel it's got quite a long way to go yet to be something folk will really enjoy, but the core idea feels fun.

yeah just to let you know this game is actually really new, so there are some bugs that are going to be fixed/new future updates (September 21 2022) :)
1. Want to draw spells directly by hand instead of staff.
2. Wish it became easier to draw spells.
3. Want to make dodging easier.
Perhaps I gave the wrong impression in there somewhere as '2' isn't quite how I feel. The spells feel fair and easy to draw; what I do find confusing is sometimes it looks/feels like I've drawn one well and it says "nope", then another time I'll do a really bad attempt at it and it'll accept it. It's sort of unclear what the game didn't like. Overall though I found the drawing of spells easy enough and fun, just frustrating sometimes when it accepted a terrible drawing but rejected what felt like a good one.
As for dodging... not "easier" exactly; more that it isn't clear where my hitbox is and it never really felt like it was connected to my body. On top of that it feels like it might not be stand/sit-friendly.
Generally though I love the idea of this. I can see it being a ton of fun in full PvP mode.
Hang-drawing of spells though.... oh yes please! I want to go full Wong! ;-)

@@DavePearson If you want to fight together, now you only need to click PVP at the same time within 15 seconds to enter the same room. In the later version, we will develop the room function, so that you can create a room by yourself to invite friends.

How much is this game and is it really worth it?
Probably best to follow the link in the description to see the price as it'll depend on where you're based. Here in the UK it's showing as £16.75. Personally... I'm not sure I'd buy it at that price, but ultimately it's not really my sort of game.
