Get the apex if your a more dialed longboarder. Mango jam will be more forgiving but apex will have better noseriding ability, even with the hard edge the mango jam box rail runs further up than the apex. So apex locks in a bit easier. Downside is in less smooth waves the wide point back on the apex might be more bumpy but at the literage. You won’t have issue paddling it. Mango jam is all rounder but as you progress I feel it at a certain point I will want the apex. Depends on what your after. Defintly the jam is more straight performance oriented whilst the apex is more specialized into log performance
