    Bro I just say you’re the best. Your understanding is on point. The factor you multiplied the PKC was supposed to be 16.63 to get the crude protein.

      Thanks for your positive feedback ....Yes you're right!....I've got quite many questions on why PKC was multiplied by 44. I had to rewatch the entire video before realising my mistake there. The 44 was rather for Soyabean (another protein ingredient). However, I hope the concept & formula is clear enough. Thanks.

    Hello, will it be good for the pigs if I will mix hammered corn and fish meal from the discards of fish market? Can it be enough for thw growth of my pigs?

    • @DeMFarms
      @DeMFarms  5 месяцев назад +2

      I think there’s no harm in giving them that every now and then but that shouldn’t be on a consistent basis…a bit more investment in proper feed would serve you better in the long run

    Thank you for the detailed ratios, during the various stages of life.
    This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a few questions if you would be kind enough to advise.
    Does sticking to the higher end of the protein range result in a noticeably leaner meat? Would it have a negative impact on their weight? How many kilos per pig, per day for each stage of life is best assuming one is using large white as the breed?
    Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. God bless you and your family

      Glad you find this useful...
      With you question.....As far as I know, pigs have specific dietary protein requirements based on their age and stage of growth. So providing excessive protein can lead to inefficient feed utilization, which may likely affect how well they grow including their weight gain.

    Hi please is pkc good for pregnant pigs. A friend told me it leads to deformed piglets

    • @DeMFarms
      @DeMFarms  10 месяцев назад

      There are divided opinions on the use of the PKC in pig feed. However, we have not encountered any such complications since our pigs are yet to give birth. And although we use it on our farm, it is always in smaller quantities just to supplement our main protein ingredient(concentrates). We will update you in the future if we experience any adverse effect from its use. Thanks for your time here :)

    Can I only mix PKC grade A with chicken starter? Please answer

    • @DeMFarms
      @DeMFarms  2 месяца назад

      Yes you can. PKC has a crude protein content of 14 - 18% and works great as protein supplement in your feed. At Dem Farms, we don’t advise for PKC to be fed to piglets though.
