      No chemo for me because my troke. Taking Texoxifen though. Got biopsy done again another breast

    I am a 64 year old male with stage 2 male breast cancer. Positive Estrogen receptor 5% and positive Progesterone receptor 40%. If I have low risk lymph glands score of 25 or lower would I need chemotherapy?

    Mine was 27 but I was post-menopausal so I didn’t have to have it.

      I am glad you didn’t have to take chemotherapy. We are learning how best to optimize multi-gene tests to understand who is likely to benefit from chemotherapy. In general terms, chemotherapy is used when the Oncotype Recurrence Score is greater than 25, but each case is different.
