Holly & Matt thanks for the video and at 13:54 in the video I thought the fence is called the dingo fence. The Dingo Fence is the longest fence in the world. It stretches from Jimbour on the Darling Downs, stretches through New South Wales and ends west of Eyre Peninsular on the cliffs of the Nullarbor Plains. 👍👍
I sat down and watched 'Me Myself and Irene' last week. When Charlie changed to Hank for the first time I suddenly had this vision of you Matt. Just wanted to let you know. I think this is a complement on your comedic face contortion skills. 😃 Marty from Perth
So it wasn't a fancy sensor or a computer thing only a factory installation problem gee you got lucky 😉 God bless Adrian we all need an Adrian he's the best on ya buddy 😊
Great episode… but need to play the full mix of Bo the Drifter ‘ Simpler Life ‘ with the lyrics, it suits where you are, and what you are doing. One of the few bit of music I use with lyrics. Absolutely love it. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼
Everyone seems to be going crazy for Starlink right now. What plan are you guys on while travelling? I know many still use their residential plan while travelling. And they are not experiencing any connectivity and/or speed priority issues. The $199 discounted dish for certain rural areas is only available for the residential plan. If you choose the Roamin plan - the plan they recommend for on-land travellers - the dish cost $599. So it would be good to know if you're on a residential plan and still getting good speeds.
We have the roaming plan and use it at home. Works really well considering, better than the NBN we could get. Its been very handy for people like us who rely on the internet to make coin
aside from from your new build benefits and set-up changes, how does the 78 compare to the HJ47 as a touring vehicle, is it chalk and cheese, or is the HJ47 still a worthy and safe old tourer in her own right?
47 was always an awesome touring vehicle, just a bit more work to it. Modern comforts are nice, mainly AC and dust seals. Everything else is kinda a plus from there. As a safe touring vehicle I wouldn’t want to have any kind of accident in the 40, I think you’d be second best in most cases.
Matt & Holly, what you guys going to do without Adrian? You're in debt to him for life, lol. Yay, finally, u guys here at Cameron Corner. I have always wanted to go, but somehow, we ended up skipping it. It's really in the middle of nowhere lol but I'll get there one day. Love the drone shots of these wild horses.
How did you guys find the travel buddy in the end? We had some pastizzis that took hours (4/5) to get goldenish? did u defrost pies? Now debating taking iyt on the big mission. Any advice?/ PS the JUMP and Little red are highlights of that region. Safe travels. Cheers J
Hey mate. Yeah it’s been good this trip. We have figured it out now, pretty much crank it to the max for pretty much everything, and double the time on the packet. It will get it done eventually!
a kink in the fuel line of an unnecessarily larger tank that the Troopy doesn't need. I can't help but think this headache could have been avoided if those oem components hadn't been modified
Troopy doesn’t need a long range. It is probably the best in the market. 2x fillers for 2x90L tank. Range is well over 1200km . These fellows might got that free as part of the sponsorship. I will take a jerry can if needed
It’s just a small install issue, you have to expect these things on a build like this. The 180L stock is fantastic but it still wouldn’t have been enough for the current trip we are on, we would have been sort by quite a bit. Also in regards to it being unnecessarily large, you don’t have to fill it up all the time. When I’m not on trips it will be empty. It’s honestly been one of the handiest things on this trip. Also we paid for it in full 👍🏼
Nice filming. Just a comment if you are aiming at international viewers. Us Ozzie's speak too fast in conversation with another. My French partner and her friends who speak some english are totally lost with the speed of speech and our use of shortcuts. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment mate! But to be honest I can’t change the way I speak. If I slow it down people will get frustrated with that 😅 you’ll just have to translate.
MY home cost way less than your truck my home will last maybe another 100 years it small but I am a retired Principle Geologist for BHP Billiton Petroleum, Its on a 35,000 AC LAKE THAT IS HOME TO 5 world record fish, below the is one of 5 best trout streams in the world, in town I can bowhunt deer, town 2600 people 15,987 ac ( 15 sq. mile)mostly wood mountains and streams, what did I pay for my 595 sq ft house $17,000 less than cost of most cars and it will last 100 plus years!!!!!! DOG proof fence at Cameron's Corner NOT rabbit, that's in W.A.
Correct
Great find Adrian 👍
Good the fuel issue is sorted.
Good job Adrian.
‘Everybody Needs an Adrian’ merch coming out soon?
Will Buy That T-Shirt (Fan from the U.S.)
Same! We need a stubby holder too 🍺

that's right the rabbit proof fence is a book and a movie
@@michaelblake4442 , the rabbit proof fence is in WA. it’s not fictional, it exists.
Nicely done. I'm envious you are where I want to be.
Cool cool Guys awesome stuff
Thanks for taking us on the ride
Thanks for watching :)
Sorry guys but that’s the dingo fence. The rabbit proof fence is in WA. Just need to get up to speed on your fences. 😀😀
Nice to see a travel blog again looking forward to the rest of the trip
Its all good, these kind of things always happen on the road.
Awesome content and episode 👏
Beautiful country and scenery 👌
Thanks for sharing 👍 Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦

Your rear leafs look like they're maxed out? Need to upgrade to 5 leaf 700kg+ 🤔
Yep we are right on GVM fully loaded for the canning so we are getting the 5 leaf in Perth. Already have a set aside for us ;)
So it wasn't a fancy sensor or a computer thing only a factory installation problem gee you got lucky 😉 God bless Adrian we all need an Adrian he's the best on ya buddy 😊
Installation problem due to an aftermarket fuel tank. If they'd left it alone - no problem
Those pies looks great! Yum 😋
Lovely Ep and country side
Fantastic video and awesome that you solved the fuel issue, the whole reason for a shakedown trip.
Swiss army Adrian merch
Its on the cards!
Its crazy how solar energy have made overland/camping a bit more convenient for those that love the activity.
Its amazing to have, feels very satisfying getting that free energy.
Yeah just a bit different! The lux was awesome though so reliable
nice one guys, good to see the truck is working out. Would be interested to see what fuel economy you're getting?
Noticed how tiny the awning is on the rtt, like to see how it goes in crappy weather🤔
We have had it in roan and wind and it goes great 👍
Good thing the issue was an easy fix. But I bet until you guys figured it out, the whole thing was stressful.
We weren't that stressed we thought it would be something simple

A new build gremlin. I guess you have to expect some.
Afternoon team!
I’ll be in the flinders in about 2 days and doing the same route, love to catch you guys for a beer?
Hi guys great episode with all the emus and brumbies Is the starlink 12volt dc powered or 240 Volt AC? What plan do you use?
Hey mate its the roaming package and its 240V
How do you go working on the computer while being in the passenger seat, I can’t look now for a while with out feeling average 😂.

Yes. It is hard to get Toyota reliability when all the Toyota has been removed

Problems with a Toyota? First place to check is any *non-Toyota* things you've added/modified. That's been my experience anyway...
Noice
I would have been so pi……. Off with that fuel like kink - and i mean 😡 those troops must cost a fortune to spec like yours
It was a problem with the aftermarket fuel tank. If they'd left it factory there'd have been no problem
