Why would you put more controls on screen this makes it so dangerous to use while driving taking your eyes off the road for longer. Buttons give proper feedback

Does this mean there will be no diesel option as only the petrol hybrid is being mentioned? Also put off by most of the controls now being on the touchscreen: IMO a major step back in terms of road safety unless autonomous emergency braking fitted and set to default to ON as standard. I placed an order in the UK for a version of the current model with a diesel two months ago with a predicted 6 months lead time: will I get what I ordered?

This causes its own issues, not least of which is driver reliance on these things.
How come the rotary dial has gone on the automatic powershift here and it’s a stick for automatic powershift? Hope they haven’t gone backwards on that design? As the current focus here in UK has rotary dial. Would you know?
I have a 2019 focus. Much prefer the design to this one. Which looks a bit too much like a Hyundai. Don't get me wrong it's nice they've done an updated version, but I can't get the Hyundai i20n out my head when looking at this. But with a chunky grille
As someone who has owned 11 Fords over several years and presently has 3, I must say that the my two year old Focus has the worst seats. My back aches after only about 30 minutes. I have tried to find a showroom with a Focus with the optional 'Comfort Seats' to try them out, but have not yet found one. Please improve your seats as otherwise I will have to look at a different make.
Have you adjusted the lumbar support. For 2 weeks on my 70 plate focus I had a bad back and the lumbar was stuck out into my spine so I adjusted it and its fine
Not interested unless you bring back the RS. It’s a travesty that it was axed, the mark 3 being the most engaging hot hatch I’ve ever driven. I owned 2 of them. I won’t buy a ford ever again in protest
Automatic transmission is for lazy people. Give us back the manual transmission. I'm not happy to say it, but it's unfortunately the truth - the automatic transmission throws out the left foot and significantly reduces the participation of the hands in driving, the engagement of the driver and the very joy of primal and true driving. I hate automatics!
Why are car manufacturers so intent on STUPID on screen controls? The vast majority of drivers in the UK have repeatedly complained about such a Stupid mindset. And yet STUPID car manufacturers continue to ignore the very people who keep them in business!

Good old Ford, can't even use a UK spec car for the UK market, instead make the advert overseas.
Same as the fiesta I've ordered an st3 version only place I find out full specs is buy watching clips from owners that have posted videos on here

Hi Allan, The CD player does not come as standard. However, you can add this as an extra. It would be located in the glovebox. ^Bailey

1.5 diesel still has 8 speed auto with dial. Others have 7 speed auto with stick shift I believe

@@DarthxLuna Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried several variations of seat height, lumbar support, backrest angle, all without success.
I have a 2019 MK4 focus st and it's pretty comfy.
