Flying in a Ford Tri-Motor Plane 9-28-24

One of my non rail related adventures here so bear with me. This Ford tri-motor plane was built in 1929 and is now owned by group who tours it around the country. Forgive the choppiness of this video as I was just trying to get video to remember this day. This flight is out of the Statesville NC Regional Airport.

Nive video? It was a great time Saturday. My stepson took his son on his first plane ride in the same plane he flew Left seat in at age 15! He took the ground school at Oskosh.
