It's not an SUV, it's a Cross Over. Looks like an SUV but drives like a car, the only difference is that a Cross Over is higher, has some clearance so you feel like it's an SUV but it's not, it's like an intro to an SUV. You will love the drive and insurance coverage will be low. You can't really 4x4 off road it, but you can go over bumps and sidewalks with ease because it's raised. I love this car and the way it drives. 4 Cylinders save on gasoline. The only thing I hate is the variable transmission, it's a bit more delicate than a standard transmission and costly if you don't drive it right. To make your transmission last, make sure you follow the maintenance for fluid changes, also, make a complete stop before changing from "Drive" to "Reverse", this is how most people damage their transmission, they change gears while the car is in motion. The pop-up stick is on the hood, not the car. The engine can be a little loud at warm-up but becomes very quiet on freeways and expressways once it is warm. The car is very basic but built well. The Bose System is not their best one, but sounds good and is acceptable.
Thank you for this honest review of the car. I went to see one in white today and loved it. As someone who never drives, it’ll be my first car and I think it has more than I need to drive from home to school and the occasional one hour drive, if ever.
Can anyone just be appreciative of what this guy does and not correct him on everything?! This guy has been working his ass off for years trying to make car reviews for other people to watch and enjoy. Not watch and then be corrected by some dumbasses who have nothing better to do than to go around correcting everybody. I’m sure this guy doesn’t like being corrected by some total strangers who have such sad lives. We all make mistakes, who gives a shit if he just makes a tiny little mistake. Try and do all these videos yourself and see how hard you have to work to get them all done and then upload them after. It’s extremely hard and takes up a lot of time, but this guy gets it all done, and he works very hard to do that. So stfu
@@TheJeepWranglerMan023 thanks I be noticing that shit too like stfu and let the man do what he do I sick of RUclips police coming at him on every single thing like if they don’t like his style then why the hell they watching 🤦🏿
we owned a 2008 and the only difference is the cluster for the odometor color also it is a CVT (continuously variable transmission) not a 5 speed automatic :)
It has an integrated key like on most cars it does have an integrated key most cars do have an integrated key so you push it and twist this knob and it does have the same thing it's got the Bose audio system
I have an 09 SL with 193k miles on it, and it’s still going strong but it’s not the all wheel drive. . And dear reviewer the Bose sound system doesn’t sound good at all it sounds like crap. And the rear subwoofer just has enough power for you to hear it when you have the trunk open it sounds great from the outside of the car only until you actually eat inside and it sounds all muddy 👎🏾

Good review & great Nissan.
The flags and the tire's dimensions, are more important-for him-than the car's characteristics...
nobody asked
and the hood PROP is actually on the hood and folds down lol
The 2009 nissan Rogue is a cvt automatic transmission. It's not a 5-speed automatic. It's a cvt transmission.
Not a 5 speed it's a CVT

This type of Rouge uses the same interior as the Nissan Qashqai. (it might uses the same platform as the 2007 to 2014 Rouge)
The Rouge 1st came out in 2008 not 2007
@@fordmustang98guy Oh ok.
I actually didn't know it was released in 2008 but thanks for telling Me.
The Ryan Seacrest Show with Ryan Seacrest
